Vicky left in the missing The Myth Makers. She is replaced by Katrina, who leaves in Dalek Masterplan, who is replaced in that story by Sara Kingdom who leaves at the end of it. The next story The Massacre introduces Dodo at the end. Steven leaves in the Savages which is between Gunfighters and War Machines. So Web Planet * The Crusade The Space Museum The Chase The Time Meddler
* Galaxy 4 * Mission to the Unknown * The Myth Makers * The Dalek Masterplan * The Massacre The Ark * The Celestial Toymaker The Gunfighters * The Savages The War Machines
* The Smugglers * The Tenth Planet End of S2 to Hartnell's departure just into S4 has a lot of completely or partially missing stories, marked with a *. S4 is likewise not in a good state but things improve after that quite a bit. Over half of s5 now exists and most of s6

I've been continuing on with the First Hoop. The Dalek one was good. I like Dodo and Steven. What happened to Vicky? Did I miss something? Toymaker was interesting but annoying in places, that's what the bi-regeneration special was about wasn't it. Gunslingers was good, although the gunfight at the Ok Corral wasn't very accurate. War Machines now- it's got its own fancy title sequence! In fairness I don't think I've seen very many fictional versions of the Gunfight at the OK Corral that were particularly accurate...and I've seen a heck of a lot of versions over the decades! Sadly Vicki's story, where she essentially escapes into nonsense history for...reasons... is mostly missing. I think this is sad, but then - as rather a fan of Vicki and her "lets do more violence", "lets have a revolution!" attitude to time-travel - I would say that wouldn't I? Karl

A sixty minute 'David Tennant talks you through random archive clips' documentary appeared after I'd watched the commentary for Ruby Road. Nothing new, but his excitement at seeing the studio footage for Tom Baker's regeneration (as in lining up the transitions between Baker, the watcher and Davison) is fun. Although you'd have thought being a fan he'd already have seen that.

Karl Ah another Gunfight at the (empty lot behind the) OK Corral fanatic! Excellent! It's been a while since I studied it, and I'm sure I haven't seen all representations, but Kevin Costner's would have to be the most accurate from what I remember reading about it, but not perfect obviously.

I'm assuming that he had to sign off on the changes made by the novel, so clearly he's changed his mind since then. Or just remembered that it's only canon if you see it on screen, so it doesn't matter what the book says anyway... 10k post for Llama!

Yes I've noticed it's animated. I have seen a clip of the... final scene though.
I'm feeling quite uneasy. I struggled with First at... first.
But he's really grown on me. He's really come a long way and set the foundation of who the Doctor is.
He's been a pleasure to watch.

Thomb of the Cybermen now.
I love the Second Doctor, he's very charismatic.
Old style Cybermen are so scary! Way scarier than the modern efforts. Creepy. When one is trying to through the hatch! Aaarrrgh!
I also might be in love with Victoria.

I....
I DON'T LIKE THE ANIMATED ONES AND I SKIPPED THEM!
But I've seen the error of my ways and I've gone back to them! Gone back to Evil of the Daleks.
Obviously I appreciate the effort done to create these animated episodes, and they're all we've got, I just struggle to watch them after the normal live-action episodes.
But I'm giving them a shot.
