I'm currently watching Mission Impossible 2, which features Tom Cruise free-climbing a very large rock face. I was really hoping for a Spock homage, but alas it was a helicopter that delivered his mission and not someone from Q division in rocket boots.

There are a number of Star Trek episodes that I have never managed to see right the way through. I've seen most of all of them but there's small few I've never seen all of and never in one go.
One of them is, as we tyoe, on Legend
Will I managed to, FINALLY, watch The Tholian Web all the way through?

I've seen bits of it lots of times but never the whole thing or indeed all of it at once.
I've seen from around the point of the memorial service several times but most of what was before that was new to me tonight.
Likewise, although I've seen lots of it, and much of the later half several times, I've never seen the The Doomsday Weapon all the way through. I must remedy this.
Those are the only two that I know I've not seen all of

And I have now seen all the Tholian Web

That wasn't the last time this came up. That was 2014 1) Tholian WebRun away winner. Superb. I'm not sure I'd ever seen ut all the way through till my TOSs3 set arrived the other week but it really is very very good. Now try to convince me there's another decent S3 episode I have no recollection of this at all and it certainly was my position that I hasn't seen it all the way through in 2021 This Week on Council Trek: TOS: For the World Is Hollow and I Have Touched the Sky, The Tholian Web, Plato's Stepchildren, Wink of an Eye & The Empath We may stage another attempt at watching The Tholian Web all the way through Voyager: Fury, Life Line, The Haunting of Deck Twelve, Unimatrix Zero, Part I & Unimatrix Zero, Part II VERY good week there And not long before that you said I'd said I'd never seen it Phil not long ago admitted he hadn't seen THE THOLIAN WEB - one of the greatest Trek tales!!! -Ralph

My TOS S2 DVDs arrived yesterday :-) Enjoyed the Doomsday Machine today I have no memory of this!

I tried to watch TOS, but it was on a Friday night in bed and I kept falling asleep so I stopped with the intention of restarting and watching it properly, but never did. The Blu-ray set still sits on the shelf.

I think a good thing they could do for a 2 part movie. Trying to state a reason for Spock original being in the reboot films. If Q was somehow involved with Romulans (because of the story arc linking Picard to romulans, Q always does stuff aimed at Picard). But future Spock gets killed after into darkness so Q needs a new pawn. He decides to grab Kirk after Generations & dumb in on a world for 20 years to live. The reboot team go to contact Spock but end up meeting Shatner (who just happened to wonder in a cave after being on a earth in present day for 20 years but not revealing he was from future. Kirk states he know the Spock they are looking for. Then suddenly other characters show up from other shows. Enterprise. TNG. DS9. Voyager. those 2 new series currently running & any original crew - that their characters disappear & end up killed. Picard shows up after the series. Q seen in back ground but runs off so no one spots him until revealed behind everything in part 2.

Genuinely saddened by this news.
Against popular opinion I thought Vic was great and James Darren always seemed so happy and proud of the role.
Always wanted to see him perform live.

I've said before that I've never liked Vic. As a character, I've always thought he was boring, and the only time he had any importance to what's going on was Nog's PTSD episode. But my disinterest in Vic probably stems from that I've never been even remotely interested in that 50s/60s Vegas ratpack schlock.
All that said, I always *did* like his actor, and thought he was very charismatic in his performance.
I also never realized that was him in Time Tunnel (what little I've seen of it)

My mother dropped the bomb on me rather recently that they were friends in the nineties and 2000s.
