Alas, my copies are stuck in storage going damp. They would be prime Star Dub fodder.
Talking of video, if anyone is coming who has a decent mic on their video camera would they mind it being used for my channel? I'd like to do a brief film showcasing fun and games but I doubt the one I use would pick up sound well in a busy pub. There would of course be credit given for the assist.

I see the first two UK G2 issues are on eBay here. I want to see them StarDubbed, so maybe if I give my set to Ralph for that purpose at ScotCon and then anyone else who wants them can PayPal him a few quid to pass them on? How does that sound? Well, I decided to hold off a week to see if flights would come down a wee bit more and I'm glad I did. I just booked a return flight from Derry to Prestwick for just under £25 all in! Just have to decide on a hotel now.
All being well, I'll be arriving in to Glasgow on Saturday around 1:30ish, so I'll get caught up with all the craic then.

I am getting in (stupidly early) on the thursday, I was going to come in earlier and make a week of it, maybe go to some other cities, but I forgot I have a gig on the wednesday where I live! I'm staying at Ewington City Hotel on Queen's Drive, I hope that's fairly central!

Hey gang.
I've been putting this off for a while now.
I can't make it (again) to Scotcon this year.
Between now and the end of November (and maybe early December) is pretty much a big time knuckling down period where I simply have to pull all my resources to ensure my Uni work is up to scratch and passable.
So basically I'm missing another Scotcon even though I wanted to attend. This is building into a nice annual track record LOL. There was a time when I never missed any meets, but the old days are gone.
Either way, I really hope all you guys have a great time. Take lots of photos, down lots of beer and make this meet a good one.

Just booked the Best Western for Saturday and Sunday night. I'll have a very early start on Monday morning to get back to Prestwick for my flight at 9am. However, knowing all the jolly japes that are sure to occur at ScotCon it'll all be worth it.

CC #3 Man of Iron (my old tatty copy)
CC #5-10 - includes the non-Titan-reprinted Decepticon Dambusters, Wrath of Guardian/Grimlock and Crisis of Command.

(Hmmm. The one defect of note on my new, good condition CC #3 is that on the panel where Sammy sees the picture of the Man of Iron on Jazz's seat, and there is a blank speech balloon to show that he's speechless, someone has written in it in pencil, "It's that picture!" Still, grateful it was in pencil and it has now been erased.)

Based on what I'm working on for Scotcon I think we can dispel Ralph's claim to hating Longtooth more than any other Transformer. The real subject of Ralph's hatred appears to be Hubcap.
