Found some splendid cheap ale in Sainsburgers. 'Grimbergen Double', at the fine price of £1.11 a bottle. Very pleasant.

150 Ales available for the sampling....... sounds great. Sadly a little to far away to nip down to without my absence being noticed. Ah well. Karl

I stocked up on JD and Tequila this week. There is still Beth's Sri Lankan potion to sample.
But I'm not drinking for a while because of the ankle thing. Famous last words.

Bit of a vodka and DVD evening last night. Feeling decidedly slow in the brain department today.

Sweet zombie jesus.
Having not drank for a wee while my good friend and vodka drinking co-pilot Mr Brown arrived at Turnbull Towers for some banter and vodka.
I feel like death today.
However, I have now added another brand of vodka to the arsenal - Russian Standard - very smooth indeed.
I now go to feel sorry for myself while doing the ironing.

Sorry to hear that you were struck down by the dreaded after-effects. I hope you enjoyed the process of earning them though.
This Russian Standard sounds interesting. I must give it a try in due course.

I still feel crap, it does look like that until my body acclimatises itself properly to my medication unrestrained alcohol sessions are off the cards.
Responsible drinking is the way of the future.

Despite an intensive bout of vodka drinking on Friday, I was not too bad the next day. My alcohol resistance has come on leaps and bounds in recent months. Erk.

It did indeed, not even Timelash, Trial of a Timelord and large quantities of russian standard could defeat you.

Saturdays binge drinking left me with no hangover as I consumed water at a regular rate.
The last Tequila and coke took and AGE to drink, which was a sign.
The mankey Chicken Wrap from 'Perfect' Chicken was with me throughout the next day.

I was only on the Stella. I felt fine in the pub. It was only when I raised myself from my chair to head for the door to go home that my brain suddenly collapsed.
