I'd like to offload to a good home at ScotCon 2010 for no cost a set of Marvel's Transformers Generation 2 - that's G.I. Joe #138-142, TF: G2 #1-12 and as an extra the Alignment paperback. If there is multiple interest in acquiring these, a reprise of The Longtooth Virus or some other quick contest may be in order. Martin Unsurprisingly, I would be very interested in receiving these, as I have still to read the issues in question. In return I shall draw a picture of you smashing a Transformer of YOUR CHOICE! Well, if you're the only taker it looks like you will posess them without having to prove your superior worth! Martin

While I would like the individual issues, I have the trades of G2 and the love of G2 must be continually shared amongst those who have not read it all!
May Gav not be challenged!

I've told you all a million times, I am a lunkhead who must be led to water before I can drink. It'd be much appreciated Martin, of course I will pass them to another lunkhead like myself once read and enjoyed. I will still also draw a nice picture of you smashing a transformer of your choice. I'd say perhaps, Prowl? Edit: Besides, why read G2 when the pinnacle of the genre is already in my possession?

I will still also draw a nice picture of you smashing a transformer of your choice. I'd say perhaps, Prowl? Why would I want to see myself smash my favourite Transformer? Much better smash a Transformer character I don't like... such as bashing Kup over the head with his own zimmer frame... or something. But anyway, the official price of those comics is that you post original views on them on this forum. Martin

A-are you insinuating that my views aren't always original?! *gasp*
Of course, I shall give a full and unbiased report.

Not easy being original when you're the last person in the world to express a view on something... but I have faith in your unique perspective!

An experience should be passed amongst those who have it not. I already possess G2 in trade form and have previously read and owned Alignment. I am pleased to see them go to someone who has not yet experience them.
I too look forward to reading your thoughts Gav.

Is it worth me taking some more comics along to dish out? I have a pile of recent-ish Marvel stuff that needs a home. Only about 20 or so issues I guess, the UK editions where they reprint a few issues in one.
I have also bought Ralph a present.

My present for Ralph has arrived, it is beautiful. Now you must come Ralph, or at least have a designated present-carrier!
I've also booked the Friday off work! Woop! I have never been north of the border before!
I've been expanding my dvd collection a lot recently, is it worth me taking along my home-made (cough) dvds of Dr Who and Blakes 7 to find a loving home now they have been replaced? Free, of course.

I think Edinburgh Haymarket railway station is supposed to be a hub for meeting up each day, if you'll pardon the expression.
I'm due to get into the station on the Friday at 16:17, but hope to check into my hotel (which is very close by) before indulging in any pubbery.

Haymarket works nicely for me as a rendezvous point as that is my usual weekday stomping grounds.
I can finish work at 3.30pm on a Friday so I will be able to meet up with folk at any time after that as suits.

I'm officially booked up to arrive in Edinburgher at midday on Saturday - and I'll be leaving at midday on the Sunday. I have a family banquet to attend in the late afternoon so must depart. Still plenty of time to catch up with everyone/hoist the Kaptain upon my shoulder and parade him around the city.

Why must the Kaptain in particular be hoisted through the city?
