Picked up the 5 paperbacks that Titan did in the late 80's early 90's with quality Dredd material. Much better than the digest collections that Rebellion did recently.
I do wish they'd revisit them.

I'm still enjoying the new style Megazine. Feels weighty and packed with content.

Yes I suspect I have this IDW Dredd in digital somewhere but never read it, so although for some it’s filler I’m quite happy.

IDW Dredd is mostly new to me so I hope they run the whole lot of it. Also, the Megazine should always be mostly Dreddverse anyway!

I think as far as IDW goes I bought the first omnibus of the City Limits stuff, the original ongoing, so the two stories running at the moment are new to me.

I liked the Dan McDaid drawn 12 parter. really good stuff. The rest of it has been variable at best.

I have found the IDW material printed so far in the Megazine to be a bit mediocre.

It certainly isn't triple A Dredd for sure, but I'd rather be reading things I haven't read before than reprints of stuff I already have. What I found interesting about the IDW stuff generally is realising how easy it is to get Dredd's character and mannerisms wrong if you're not steeped in his history.

Enjoying the new Rogue Trooper - making it black and white was the right call.

Picked up the 2nd of those Best of 2000ad volumes from the local comic shop on FCBD - love the design and trade dress. Contents are pretty strong, Brink, first chunk of Nemesis, ABC Warriors - Red Planet Blues, a DR and Quinch tale, Dredd tales from Al Ewing and Colin Wilson and Vampire Science from Wagner, Grant, McMahon.
The repro is a bit off, colours on Nemesis, ABC look a bit muted and Vampire Science doesn't look great at all. Shame, as it's such a solid lineup.

This year's FCBD issue en route because I can't help myself.
Catching up on regular Tooth. Thank fuck The Order is finished. Beautiful art but I remain confused how the writer keeps getting work with them. Incoherant.

I was going to leave that a few months for prices to adjust, but I see they're going on eBay for £2.50 posted anyway, so I'll have one too I think. I need to continue my prog organising to find out which ones I'm missing.
Meanwhile, having recently finished the Eagle 1983 Holiday Special, I will now be diving into the 1983 2000AD Sci-Fi Special!

FCBD 2023 issue acquired. FFS, why are most Regened strips so poor?
I don't mind the Regened idea at all (I would argue it may even be needed to keep 2000AD viable).
The initial kick-off to it was good and there have been some decent strips (I really liked Pandora Perfect and Intestinauts) but the hit rate is very low. Often very generic dull demographically targeted blandness.
'All ages stories' should not equal 'shite'.

I really like the art on Full-Tilt Boogie but found the writing incoherant on the series after an ok start. If I didn't know better, I would swear Kek-W wrote it!
In other news, the Judges novellas are in the current sale. I highly recommend them.
