Dunno. I'll be around till Sunday afternoon, but speaking for the Saturday night, I guess it would depend on where we install ourselves and how much stamina we have.
And how long we can continue to stand the sight of each other.

And how early we have to check out of our respective hotels on the sunday will no doubt be a factor as well.

Well my coach back leaves the coach park at 11am on the Sunday, so I will in all likelihood not be about at all on Sunday by the time I get up and check out.

My train leaves Birmingham at 2 pm ish on the Sunday.
I'll be out and about earlier in the morning anyway, as my hotel is room only and I'll need breakfast. So depending on what people are up to we can get breakfast (or hair of the dog if you're so inclined) before seeing everyone off.
As for Saturday night, I can stay up as late as people are still enjoying my company. I might need coffee, though!

I think our check out time on sunday is 11am, so we're easy pretty much whatever is decided. We've no problem playing it by ear.

I could manage an uber-early breakfast if donuts are involved.

Ooh does anyone coming up to Birmingham this weekend have any cheap Generations / Reveal the Shield near them that they can buy for me? Just a cheeky ask, everything is so scarce and expensive round here!

Andy Oooh you definately definately need to come! I just purchased MORE EXCITING PRIZES My priority at the moment is finding a Dirge, and potentially a Blurr. I only really have Darkmount, Thrust and Drift from the line, and I don't care about the WFC stuff.

Krispy Kreme is awesome. I see more of them are being setup around the country now. Anyone who has'nt been to one simply should give it a whirl.
Can't make the B.I.G as I still don't what day it is from the next. I hope you all have a time that RULES.
I need a Dirge too...

Classic CJ will soon have its wfc head:). But I will keep an eye out for Dirge and Blur. And a Dirge for you Ken. What about Jazz and Tracks if I'm able to get to a Smyths or two. Andy

If Mr Blueshift would be able to pass a German TF comic to Mr Turnbull for me, that would be very nice. I would then give pennies to Mr Turnbull upon his return.
If Mr Bogatan was able to find any cheap Tracks and Jazzes from the mythical Smythes store that could be passed to Mr Turnbull on my behalf the same arrangement would stand.
But only if folk are able!

Oh, and as it turned out even had I the funds I could not have made it this weekend anyway as I am visiting family. Having not seen them since October and this being the only weekend off my Dad could get in January/Feb I would have had to make them a priority what with missing Christmas and all that.
Just one of those things!

I'm considering bringing along a couple of Mosaics recently drawn up for anybody interested to have a bit of a preview of. Graham has seen them already. I tried lettering them out of boredom, so they will be understandable...

JP is a member of these forums, albeit a very quiet one. He's far more active over at deviantArt, and he has coloured quite a bit of my stuff. He also coloured a couple of SDCC covers for IDW.

I take it that if folks are arriving between 11 and 12 mostly on sat that we will all be meeting somewhere specific? In the station? Outside Nostalgia & Comics? In a BAR?

How about in the main New Street station foyer, outside the ticket barrier, by the foot of the escalator that goes up into the Pallasades shopping centre? Martin

Sorry I won't be able to join you all guys - my travelling has been a bit limited since losing my job just after Auto Assembly and I'm working Sunday (I do voluntary work in my local Oxfam book store).
If anyone is still around on the Sunday and feels like a short trip over to Lichfield (a 35 train ride from Birmingham, feel free to pop in. As far as I know, we're the only Oxfam store in the country with a dedicated sci-fi / fantasy and video games section that I look after and at the moment we've got loads of books, comics, Doctor Who, Star Trek and sci-fi mags, and about 150-200 current and retro games from the Commodore 64 right up to the PS3 / XBox 360!
I've got some photos on my profile over on Facebook although a lot of the stuff in the pics has sold! If you live locally, I'm in there a few days a week but if you can't make it, I can take orders on behalf of the shop and take payment by PayPal so if there are things you're after just let me know!
Simon
