Well, it does make sense as a "final" episode of MLP:FIM. I figured Twilight was going to wind up in some form like this eventually. Just... at the end. Hang on. 26 episodes of season 1. 26 episodes of season 2. 13 episodes of season 3. That's 65- the same as TF:Prime and enough for syndication. They're not knocking it on the head too, are they? -Nick Season 4 has apparently been confirmed for 26 eps. I can't believe they'd knock one of the Hub's few actually popular shows on the head. But stranger things have happened.

That was hilarious! Scootaloo popping up was the best part. Celestia a close second. All of their voices were really strong, too.

Can't imagine there not being a season 5 pickup. There is still a lot of life left in this show and IIRC it doesn't cost too much to produce.

Brilliant stuff, Matt. You've got a real handle on the characters' voices and movements. It's also very, very funny.

I am genuinely upset about the terrible collateral damage at the end of the episode. It's been a while since fictional destruction has got to me.

I should give that a miss until I'm caught up, then. Is there a good place to see season 4 online?

I have written another story, it is called The Cutie Mark Inspector, and it is about a cutie mark inspector visiting Ponyville. You can see how my clever mind works. It does have mild spoilers for the finale though, so watch that Nick! www.fimfiction.net/story/190035/the-cutie-mark-inspector

All ponied up in Shockprowl house. Have been for some time. It really is a brilliant show. Possitive yet familiar role-models, just the right amount of drama and peril. Great show.

I know it isn't everyone here's cup of tea, but some people spent the last year making a 20 min animated adaption of a story I wrote a few years back!

Thread necromancy! I have got into this in the past long weekend by finally sitting down with Charlotte to watch it (she has been addicted for about 2 months). I have now seen about 10 random episodes from across all seasons, including the opening story. I enjoyed "Testing, Testing 1,2,3" a lot, a 2-parter with the Crystal City (?) and a couple of Cutie Mark Crusader stories (including one with a hilariously bad musical?).
Apple Bloom suddenly speaking French in Cutie Pox had me in stitches to Charlotte's bemusement - I eventually realised that being bilingual with French means it just sounds completely normal to her and the joke falls flat.
They were all good, really. I want to watch it properly from the beginning now.

Welcome to the party, Jim.
It's a great show, very well thought out, brilliant really. I wont lie, I wouldn't watch it if not for my daughters.. but it's no chore to watch.
And Pinky Pie RULES.
Aaaand My Little Pony / Transformers Cross-overs are A LOT of fun.

I have to admit that the american Brony culture/fandom that sprang up around this show has completely killed it for me.
And I loved it so much, too.

I have to admit that the american Brony culture/fandom that sprang up around this show has completely killed it for me. And I loved it so much, too. I'm in the Jetty camp with this, awful fandom! Actually pretty much most 'new' fandoms tend to be horrific. I avoid them all as much as possible. Helps to avoid tumblr completely!!

Normally I just ignore fandoms and do my own thing.
But in this case, the Brony culture is so toxic that it's poisoned the well. You're automatically labled, whether you participate or not. And they're just so disgusting and destructive, and hostile towards the intended audience that I just can't do it. I can't watch the show and enjoy it anymore because of them.

It's the main thing which put me off over the years; when it first appeared it looked good but I didn't have any time then it got almost unhealthily popular (I was mostly on another TF forum at the time and it felt like 75% of avatars were pony gifs). I don't think I'd have bothered at all without Charlotte discovering it for herself and wanting to share it with me.
