Forgot that I'd picked up a Legacy Beast Machines Cheetor from A1 Toys before they closed down for good. And what a toy to serve as a memorial! It's absolutely shite. So glad I didn't pay full price for it. Cat modes can be ropey at the best of times, and this one is really poor. The thing I don't understand is why it has tabs to lock the upper halves of the beast mode legs to the body. Why would you want to lock the legs in place? Why would anyone want to do that? Dreadful.

I discovered SS86 Swoop sat on the recycling bin when I was putting some rubbish out at half six this morning. No idea how long he'd been sat there, nothing to tell me he'd been delivered. That means I now have five unopened 86 Dinobots and my own road is complete, so I must abide by my original intent and now that I have them all... open them.
Going to need a bigger shelf.

Despite being my third go around with the mould and being underwhelmed by him, I have to say I do think Bludgeon is the better use of this toy, the spindly porportions work for him a lot better. He really does need some flags and flagpoles though.

Haha, I made exactly the same purchase on their last day - I'd hoped they might have still had Cannonball or Filch at half price but they were away. Music Label Optimus Prime arrived today. It was missing its power supply, but given that woudnt have worked without hassle it not a loss. I really like the new ball jointed head. Shame missing link didnt go with a similar approach.
Trailer/speakers look awesome. Forget what I said earlier, I do want to get this playing at some point.
This is becoming the year of the Primes for me. Missing Link, Legacy Armada, Blokees, Music Label already here with almost certainly SS86 and maybe retro G1 to come.
If I get myself Cloud Prime I'd be pretty much all done.

Movie reissue Thundercracker arrived yesterday which I bought on a whim. He's very nice. I'm enjoying the fact that him and Skywarp are both holding gun-mode Megatron on the shelf. Which gives me an idea for a display - all the TFs that come with little Megs. How many are there? I'm sure a couple of the collection reissues have them as well.

Of the Starscream reissues.... 2001 predates the gun 2003's Commemorative Series doesn't have it 2003's Transformers Collection introduces the gun 2007 Encore DOES NOT INCLUDE IT. 2018 Vintage G1 Walmart includes the gun 2023 Retro Walmart includes the gun as do his two chums tfwiki.net/wiki/Starscream_(G1)/toys |
