I'm choosing to open Dinoking's little lads one day at a time, and I think, freed from the constraints of needing to be a Sludge, I'm really kinda liking Rairyu. I've never owned a Pretender Monster so I have no real preconceived ideas about what they should look like. This is just a ludicrous little dino man, and the humongous missile launchers really give him that Dino-Riders energy I've always thought the Dinoforce shared.

Opened Deluxe TF One Sentinel Prime tonight. I quite like it. A couple of clever bits of engineering.
Also opened Legacy Point Blank.
Putting these two deluxes together... definite shrinkflation between the two. Point Blank is a full head and shoulders taller and much more substantial.

Very true. The open box era has introduced an element of 'fuck it' to the Pinwig anti-opening policy. This is why 86 Swoop is out but none of his brothers have quite made it yet.
That said, Sludge's box is next to me on the sofa.

Not by rule, I just tend to end up not opening things because I guess I like saving things 'for later', or indeed I save things for a time when I've got space to display them and then never do. I open most generations toys these days, it's just the exclusives I have trouble with. And Titans. I've only opened a couple of those.
