Ten seems to have stolen Vector Prime's body for the MTMTE #48 cover.

Anyone know how long before Roberts and barber become the longest serving writers on a Transformers comic? Thats to say within a single continuity.
Or has it already happened? In terms of US issues they must be close to Budianskis total and far surpassed any consecutive run he made. Furmans harder to judge, they must have done more IDW G1 issues than him now, but his Marvel UK run being weekly and all. As a page count I have no idea how many current US issues it would compare too. Though he did 25? US issues so its that plus all the UK content before it.

All the Megatron stuff makes me want to go back and read Megatron: Origin, but I no longer have my copies so would need to rebuy it. Only... I remember it was really, really bad. Like, Micromasters bad. Was it really really bad or was I wrong? I am genuinely unsure of myself now.

MTMTE Day!
If I were you I'd read it quick as there's a THING in it that will get spoiled by the Interweb if you don't.
But yeah good issue.

So if the lost lighters are red dwarfish was anyone else getting a firefly feel from the scavengers? Well forefly meets community.

Highly entertaining. And not just throwaway stuff - I think this is the last of the dominoes being put in place before The Dying of the Light.
Mmm... Dominoes...

Another great issue, nice to check in on certain characters again and I agree, it's definitely getting things ready for The Dying of the Light.

Just managed to catch Nostalgia Comics before it shut.
Great stuff as usual, and given Fortress Maximus' rather brutal handling of the two 'cons on Delphi and his nasty execution of Demos, I'm not sure who to root for.

I only just got to it today, and have to say it was my favourite issue in a little while. I just love these characters, something about their loser underdog status edges them over the main cast for me (who are supposed to be "losers" but often seem like the cool kids). And that first page is a classic in the manner of a Community fake clip show, every panel perfect.
I was surprised by Fort Max's appearance, and it was a bit brutal. I have no doubt who I'm rooting for!

It was a decent issue. But I do feel that that the overarching story, if there is one for season 2, is getting a bit lost.

Loved Red & Max's partnership, feeding off each other's strengths. The Scavengers are a joy to read, and I'm incredibly intrigued about what's going on with Grimlock. I was prepared for an annoyingly drawn out "Me Grimlock" personality from Issue 8 to the ends of time, so it was so cool to see him come out with that comment. But does this mean he's been playing dumb, and for what purpose when he could just kill the Scavengers and commandeer their ship to wherever he wants. But he seems to have an affection for Misfire and that's ace.
It'll certainly help Misfire in the long run, because it'll take a Grimlock to be able to fight Skids off when they finally meet.

That was a cool issue, but was I suppose to recognise the insignia and characters at the end? It seemed to be written like a revelation but I can't recall seeing that before

This is me copying and pasting my comments from another board, so apologies for that, but wondered what you thought of my ramblings (and all these guesses and things are exactly why I love MTMTE so much, you get so much value out of every issue):
I didn’t notice it the first time round, but the Scavengers are in so much trouble! Just when I love them more than ever (he knows how to twist that knife!) That little panel where Max arrives on the WAP and calls out Grimlock; and Grimlock is holding a pen, which in itself is brilliant (proving beyond a doubt that T-Rex’s COULD do something with those stubby little arms). But he has an incredibly evil expression on his Dino face, and he’s drawn that symbol that relates to the Grand Architect, suggesting he’s been playing it dumb all this time with the Scavengers and will know exactly when to sell them up the river.
Some excellent references in this issue that I loved: Fort Max parodying a Bill Hicks sketch (America acting like John Wayne to the rest of the world “He had a gun”). Misfire’s ‘Full retard’ pisstake from Tropic Thunder, or should that be Tropic Thunderwing!
And Spinister’s little kisses at the end of his note
So Fort Max was right, he should have taken Grimlock in. There might be a lot of death’s about to occur because he chose to play it civil with the Scavengers rather than a thug warden with PTSD. That there Grimlock is thoroughly evil!
Which raises more questions; was Overlord in league with the Grand Architect that he handed over Grimlock for some especially nasty experiments? Did the Grand Architect have something on Overlord? How many personalities are in Grimlock’s head?
Can Spinister save them all? Is he an earlier experiment by those who tinkered with Grimlock?
What IS the code in Ironfist's datalogs? Perhaps Roberts is challenging the readers to re-arrange those two clues that Red told Max?And clue’s about what? Did Ironfist know something about the Grand Architect in his readings about the Primal Vanguard that linked Delta Magnus to the DJD, Skids, Ultra Magnus and Overlord?

It looks like it, but it's not As to where you've seen it before it wason the back of Luna 1 in issue 21 and on Thunderclash's map?

It's odd, it's the only thread we really do it for, but this book is one that we particularly care about!
