This is rather spiffy. I had no idea that Skids was Scottish though.

For some reason the scottish accent in certain things pulls me out of films - YES STAR WARS I AM LOOKING AT YOU. That is some lovely animation.

Unlike a lot of things that reach 10 or 20 years old (increasingly 30 years ), I wasn't that surprised to find this was 10. It feels like quite some time ago. Not sure why. I skimmed through the first few pages of this thread, which was interesting to do.

I had the same thought. In my case I think its because I tend to forget how long there was between this and LSOTW.

How about we do a '10 Years ago on the Lost Light' thread?
A bit like the Marvel UK comic one.

I'd be up for an issue a week. An issue a month is a bit slow.

The point with the Marvel one was to relive the story at the speed it originally unfolded, but at an issue a month it might not have the same traction. No harm in mentioning the dates though.

Yeah, that sounds good. I might even get my single issues out for DW given how much getting the covers was part of the thing when that started. Hard to believe it sold x-men numbers at the time. Is there any trace of the board from that time still available somewhere on that there internet superhighway? It'd be great to see what we said at the time. Or were we still on the egroup?

Sadly not. That was when The Hub was on ezboard and the ezboard stuff sadly is not searchable on archive.org. Ezboard went to Yuku and we jumped ship but didn't get an archive sadly.

It's for the best. I talked a lot of shite 20 years ago.
