Sorry I'm an idiot who moved the original version of this post thinking it was about mp sound wave. AH!!! I KNEW IT! I thought I'd gone mad! I was sure I'd already started a FOC Soundwave thread, but it wasn't there! My sanity is tenuous enough as it is Big Phil! But I'll let you off 'cos you're pretty.

I'm fairly sure I'll be getting one, it's rare I pass up a any Soundwave figure (he's my 3rd fave after all!), and a whole set of cassetts?! Yowsers! I just hate his arms! The shoulders where the arms attach to the body. Oh and the round minions. Laserbeak and Buzzsaw look ok, even Ratbat looks reasonable. But I'm unconvinced about Ravage and the small robot modes of Frenzy and Rumble (who are consistantly named the wrong way round in all the pics I've seen).

Would anybody like me to order one of the G2 Brutici from BBTS? It's sold out on Amazon but they still have some. If the box isn't too big I could bring a couple home in my suitcase at Christmas. -Nick

Grimlock looks huge next to Prime. Shame it's a tiny Prime

Grimlock looks huge next to Prime. Shame it's a tiny Prime But is barely bigger than Classic Grimlock in dino mode! The robot mode looks nice but dino mode isnt even much of an improvement on the classic.

Are you going to have one of your episodes if Soundwave's bigger? Shall we get you a nice cup of tea and some dried frog pills?
He looks like he "unfolds" more than Grimmy- a wee boxy vehicle and a towering robot. Soundwave's always been depicted as a massive dude, and he needs space to fit his little dudes in his chest compartment.

Like the look of that new Grimlock despite his hollowness showing. I like the Cybertron's game style they've got going on, it looks a bit basic/flat on screen but the figures look like they have allot of pose-ability - they look pretty cool in the pictures i've seen. UltraMagnus, Prime, Sideswipe and Grimlock atleast. Obviously the scales are a little all over the place...

That and a bit of Lionel Richie. Yes, I like my Soundwaves big, like my Grimlocks. Big. So if they're the same size that would be acceptable.

The deluxes are tiny, but the voyagers are larger voyagers. My FoC Sounwave is on the way. Can't wait for him to arrive! See just how his size compares.

Yeah, i think the Cybertron mode Bumblebee in the generations line or whatever it is works out bigger than Prime, Sideswipe, Jazz and co. It's a right jumble.

I'm really thrilled with the FOC line. Blaster and Soundwave are great. The Data Disks are just soooo awesome! I must have Ratbat.Bruticus... Kickback... great cuaracters, great design, great poseability.
Along with the other classics and generations G1 moulds, we finallynhave the TFs of our dreams.

yours maybe, but I want my tapes shaped liked tapes.
And I like toys that can actually stand up, unlike Rumble and Frenzy so I hear

Dagnabit. I'm still waiting on my g2 Bruticus. It shipped Dec 17th via nontrackable usps airmail, so given that a) it takes up to 10 days to arrive, b) between the 17th and now there were some christmas and new years days off and c) it usually takes a week to clear customs... I guess I needn't panic. But I am reminded once again what a calming effect tracking has. At this stage, I would probably have it listed as being processed by customs... instead I'm all stressed out :-)

I had a shot of Nick's and I wasn't that impressed. I am glad I got out of actively buying TF toys before the current era to be honest. Current line TF's just look and feel so cheap and basic and yet are so highly priced but they honestly are like Poundland toys.
On the positive side, I thought the limited colour palette was mostly decent on Bruticus (and the overlong arm did amusingly make me think he had indulged in too much self-love) but I think I will now pass on the Wreckers repaints (yes, even Impactor). I'm not paying £13 a pop for something that feels like a pound toy.

Finally saw all 5 in person the other day and am quite glad to have cancelled the G2 order. They look really poor. Though I shall resist, FOC Prime on the other hand grows on me every time I see him.
