I've got the Rainmakers as they fit the season one lineup as Shockwave's crew. Also Starscream still. Don't need any more.

However I reckon I'm in for anything that comes from the Earthrise jet mould. Love that.

I'm not sure what to do about Siege. I reckon I'll keep a small representative set of the figures, but I don't think I need the majority of the ones that have ER versions too. I still can't figure why so many exclusives have clung to those moulds.

I think my one regret is getting Siege Smokescreen and not the ER one, because, wow, does he not fit now.

I'm beginning to get worried about Thrust. Surely, surely a figure so hard to find will get a reissue. How easy was he to come by in the US? I'm starting to think I might need to swallow the cost and get one anyway just to complete the coneheads. He's a massive hole in my collection atm.

IIRC he was a pain in the ass in the States to find too.

I am hoping there is a rerun. Hasbro of late seem to have finally understood the business sense in rerunning high-demand toys.

30th April I decided to chase my Studio Series 86 pre order with Kapow. I'd paid up for Hot Rod and Grimlock, no sign of a Scourge invoice (which I already knew there were problems with) or the set of 3 deluxe (2 of which I could see in stock at Kapow and knew there was stock elsewhere of the other.)

So I asked about Scourge and the set of 3

Doing some budgeting and Order # <Order Number cut> has popped up on my spreadsheet

I can see Grimlock was paid for 21st Feb <paypal link cut>

I can see Hot Rod was paid for 14th Mar <paypal link cut>

I haven't been invoiced for Studio Series 86 Deluxe Set of 3 Jazz Blurr & Kup OR Studio Series 86 Voyager Scourge. The notes on my spreadsheet say Due Feb 2021

Any idea what's going on? I can see two of the deluxe set in stock but haven't been invoiced with them. Any idea when you're likely to invoice me for the rest and be able to deliver them?

They told me

The invoice for scourge should be heading out to you next week.

No mention of the deluxe.

The Scourge invoice didn't turn up and I could see one or more of the deluxe getting difficult to obtain at other sites.

Needless to say I've asked to cancel the deluxe part of the order and gone elsewhere. I've also started investigatin backup Scourge optons.

I've also (Gav) asked to cancel the 2 x Earthrise Rung & Slitherfangs which they've had on their order sheet since MAY LAST YEAR and don't look likely to be ever able to fill.

I have only had problems with Kapow with pre-orders. In stock and sale items no problem at all and usually stuff posted out day of ordering and with me 2-3 days later and I am happy with that service so use them for that. They're not so good with pre-orders so I stopped using them for that.

I'm not sure all their preorder problems are of their own making - shenanigans higher up the supply chain that some of us predicted when they got into bed with Hasbro UK - and on some (like here) the customer contributes by ordering things together where one or more ends up a problem.

But I'm hearing their comms are not good, and indeed here they've failed to address all the questions I've asked both times and the reply to the second email doesn't even make it clear which element of my query they're responding to

I stopped using Kapow last year. I had the Rung/Slitherfang preorder which never happened, they were just shoddy with customer communications, and delays and missing things, so I cut my losses.

There are other options for my TF obtaining needs. Still missed the boat on Slitherfang tho.

I don't have a Scourge yet either. Smyths reckon a couple of weeks for their stock so I'm hoping I can get one there. When they got Hot Rod there was a week or so where every shop was overloaded with them.

i had enough of Kapow and InDemand last year, it seemed to me they were both a bit "for years youve struggled to get toys and weve got them so we can live off that rep"

I ordered Scourge, Grimlock and Hot Rod from Collectors Den as I missed the original preorders. I got Grimlock a week or so after most people and Hot Rod and Scourge arrived weeks ago.

Interesting. Kapow have noted that Hasbro are offering Haslab Galactus and Razor Crest wholesale. Not huge numbers and obviously wholesale prices are not retail prices, but what's that about? Shifting the excess stock kept for replacements?

Interesting news from the world of wholesale clearance! We've received a list today which includes some interesting products at knockdown prices.

We're not going in on any of these items as it stands as the market is saturated with product but keep your eye out in case any of your friendly neighbourhood stores do take up these offers 🙂

WHERE ARE THE TRANSFORMERS PRE-ORDERS ? - We're not adding them 🙂 The new waves are apparently due in March this year which is still when the balance of the last wave is due which have not arrived yet in their total numbers.
Over the last 2 months you may have noticed nearly all recent Hasbro product is at heavy clearance so why pre-order ? The only entity pre-ordering currently benefits is Hasbro themselves.
We'll be stocking all the upcoming products on their actual release but don't want to keep customers hanging on whilst staggered stock drops and bizarre pricing continues at the wider market, It's no good for you guys and no good for us 🙂
The current economy dictates people need to save money where they can and pre-ordering something for £23.99 which is available at clearance shortly after doesn't make sense for anyone 👍 Hasbro want the ''Fan'' money but need to up their game.

Yep, I've stopped pre-ordering TF stuff as well - with pre-orders arriving several months early it meant they were coming due when I'd budgeted for Bandai stuff which came out on schedule to be due... It made for a couple of ticklish months on the budget and I decided it wasn't worth the risk.
