What iPad apps does Phil need? I'd like a good moving map that updates the location as you move if there is one.
Got Night Sky already :-)

Phil's been given some cbx files by a 2000ad digital reader.
I've downloaded an iPad cbx reader
How do I get the files onto the iPad?
and how do I remover them later as it's quite a large ammount of space they'll take up

If you give it about 15 minutes I've uploaded a handy dandy video of what to do on my livestream channel. It's for comic zeal but it applies to any cbr/cbx reader www.livestream.com/andytAndy

I'd have never got there, ta.
I'd set my iPad up with the laptop but everytime I try to sync songs with the desktop it threatens to wipe the music library.... any way to get round that?

Sadly not, the ipad only syncs with one machine. But if you have bought something via itunes on either the laptop pr ipad and want them on the pc you can download them to both.

When downloading things from Itunes the tracks all seem to congregate in one giant folder in the Music bit. How do I separate them out into distinct album? I can't figure it out at all.
I also can't seem to transfer more recent stuff to the desktop.

turn it into a list view. Add the album field. sort by album field. Find the ones you want and copy them into their own folder. Simple

I hear a rumour that there's a way to get DVDs onto an iPad. Burns tells me the iPad Guru can tell me what to do. Or possibly record a new video for us showing us how to do it.

There is indeed. You need Handbrake available to download here - handbrake.fr/Put your DVD in the machine and open Handbrake. It will scan the DVD, simply make sure you select a preset for Apple TV and sort out the quality as you want. It will then copy it to your computer. Open itunes and you can add this ripped file to itunes. Pop the iPad in and then when you are syncing the iPad select the file and it will pop across. Andy
