This is one for you if anyone can help. iphone5s - (it'll be same methods as ipad so I expect?)
Have my laptop with 3usb plugged in - Can I do the following, share the internet connection with iphone (if run out of data on the phone) like how I can connect it to my broadband? (which I can take to the middle of nowhere with me where I can turn my laptop on & go online for about 2 hour before battery goes)
I've looked at making a network on my laptop - but is that the right way

I'll try that one - when trying to set up network on my computer it disable wireless for me.

Still can't get a network set up on my laptop
But got another problem. Batman arkham origins game on my phone doesn't load up - can get the character screen to be displayed on pressing home twice to close it but can't access the game. I think i've got the game backed up on icloud so should I delete & reinstall the game (but can't find it on the games list anymore unless its been discontinued & this being why no software support & game not playing?)

There's a lot of really competitive Android tablets that are just as good as an iPad but cheaper. With Apple you pay a premium for the brand name |

The iPad pros have the bigger screen but cost the big bucks. For a straight replacement for what you have you want the standard iPad 2017 model. I bought Mrs P one last year to replace her iPad 2 and she reports the performance improvement was noticeable. The screen is higher res too I think.

Blue is quite right. I replaced my Nexus 7 with an Asus Zenpad 3S 10 (also called Z500M in the UK) last year and I love it. 9.7 inch screen. I just don't get on with apple stuff generally.

Starting to notice there's a couple of dead spots on the screen. Nothing major, and can be got round by re-orientating. So going to do some considering. Giving some thought to getting one with a SIM card slot for when we go away so I no longer need to activate a backup Phil. |

I have an Ipad2 I never use as it reminds me of a bad time in my life. I could donate it if Andu tells me how to wipe all my data off it and do a factory reset.

Set it up. but been busy today so not really started putting it through it's paces. The magnetic charging for the apple pencil makes me happy though.
