On the topic of Jago and Litefoot, I found one of the CDs in a charity shop in Chichester last month. Nothing unusual in that, but it had a sticker on it that read 'donated by the publishers'. I'm impressed that Big Finish are making efforts to support charities and finding new ways to get their stuff out there to an audience who may have only limited awareness of their work. |

Been given an early Christmas gift in the form of the new Doctor Who Audio adventure. I will have to give this a whirl soon.
Now have a CD player in our kitchen. I can listen to some Who whilst doing the dinner.

Has anyone bought Dark Eyes yet? I was browsing through Dr Who magazine earlier and found myself tempted to buy it. I bought a few of the Paul McGann CDs a year or two ago - some of the early ones were good, but I recall being utterly bored by Death in Blackpool and Lucie Miller/To the Death. Is this a return to form for the 8th Doctor, or is it clear that BF are putting their effort into the 4th Doctor stories nowadays?

Series 4 of the 8th Doctor audio adventures has finally started airing on Radio 4. Go to the Iplayer! 'Death in Blackpool' and 'Situation Vacant' are currently there and are very good.

I think they've learned from the bad reactions to previous efforts. I feel confident we will get a proper multi-Doctor story this time. Will stick a pre-order in.

I think that I may well pre-order this. I have pretty much enjoyed all of Big Finish's recent output that I have heard, and the idea of them doing an old-fashioned Who-nniversay story is a one that I think is just great. Yep, I will definitely be grabbing that.
