Oh yes! Remind me this weekend Ralph, and I will give BF all my money I will! On that list is Love and War. Still haven't had a chance to hear it yet but hope to later this week. Destination: Nerva is fun though mileage may vary for those who don't have trouser growings for stories set on Nerva. -Ralph

Right, I think I need to be giving Big Finish some of my money this weekend. Quite fancy First Sontaran's and have a great soft spot for the book of Love and War so i am tempted to invest in it.
Been reading the various plans for anniversary releases of BBC Books stuff, and the various Big Finish anniversay releases in DWM. I think there is going to be a certain amount of my monies spent on Who stuff this year.

Will be pre-ordering their multi-Doctor story this weekend. Will I go for the vanilla version or the juiced-up version with extras? I'm sure you can guess!
I generally budget for BF by sticking in pre-orders and subs way in advance. And they seem to have a daily or weekend sale every month now so pick up a few releases that way.

I love the Companion Chronicles. What would you recommend from these, I have Mahogany Murderers and Transit of Venus

Well those two are brilliant and everyone should hear!
Otherwise from that lot:
Home Truths (YES!) Resistance The Doll of Death
...are all pretty solid if you're grabbing a few.

The only one I didnt like was Nevermore, and that was because I was half-listening and got really confused. I quite enjoyed Nevermore - thought it made for a nice companion piece of "Prisoner of the Sun" when I was listening to them one a night. But it did repay a bit of "wait a moment...ah" when I was listening to it. Fortunately I was just painting things with a white basecoat at the time so I had the spare attention to stay with it. Karl

Now they've got him (he did a Lost Stories tale too) I really hope they get him to do Omega at some point. No offence to the late Ian Collier, but Stephen Thorne IS Omega!

Indeed.
Well it's the 50th Anniversary year, perhaps he figures in their multi-Doctor story?

I find Jeremy Clarkson to be a loathsome human being and Richard Hammond is a talentless hack with the screen presence of a drunken blueberry and the verbal panache of a loafing sloth.

After an evening spent wrestling with Excel and some VBA code I've finally fixed the tags on all my DW audios so they'll play in th right order on the iPad.
In the end I ended up changing the Album tag for each episode to give each episode it's own Album name (Tenth Planet 1, Tenth Planet 2 etc)

I'd second that, bought it last time it was on sale and it is a cracking set of stories.
I have started listening to "The First Sontarans" this evening - cracking first episode which definitely feels like it belongs in the gap between "Revelation of the Daleks" and "Trial" as far as the Doctor/Peri relationship goes. Cracking little mystery setup in the first episode as to what on earth is actually going on as well. Think this is going to be a good'un.

Episode Two is cued up for this evenings listening once I get into the wind-down part of the evening. Looking forward to it - the cliffhanger to Part One was absolutely great and I'm looking forward to finding out where it goes from there.

Loads of BBC Whodios have turned up in the Edinburger The Works.
Target audiobooks of: The Sensorites, The Aztecs, The Twin Dilemma, The Androids of Tara (the newer novelisation version), The Myth Makers, And the Doomsday Weapon (Colony in Space), And the Space War (Frontier in Space), Paradise Towers, Ghost Light, Fury from the Deep, Earthshock, Black Orchid, The Sea Devils. Picked up all bar the last as already have a download copy. Surprised to see more recent releases from 2012 there.
Also had the TV soundtrack release of The Mind Of Evil, 10th Doctor audio Prisoner of the Daleks and several 11th Doctor stories. Lass at the till said they had 'TARDIS' shaped box sets in. I lacked time to search for it! She also mentioned that they were just getting in one delivery of the Doctor Who audios. Hence why I red hazed!
Will pop back in tomorrow for a more thorough search!
£3.99 each or three for a tenner.
MP3 ripping later!
