There is a comvincing looking cover image for a third volume of Tennant audios fraturing Donna (yay), the Cribbonator (double yay), moany cow Donna's mum (ugh) and the Judoon.
Time will tell if this is real, a hoax or a fans 'what if' cover misappropriated.

Zygon Hunt on vinyl today in Sainsburgeries. Alas, another Limited Edition.
Thought I would pop in on the way to work. Nothing there and a chap walking out with a bulging bag of vinyl shaped objects as I came in. 8:20am was too late.

I had better luck after work and found 3 copies in a store around 5:30pm. Another chap was in hunting at the same time. He took one off the shelf, looked at it carefully then put it back!

Oh it's a complete lottery whether folk can get these things. It's the Limited Edition numbers that cause scalpers to go mad on them. Maybe not numbering them would help!

I checked mine tonight on the way home as I was in there anyway buying groceries, but their vinyl section is all carefully labelled and showed no signs of a Who record ever having been there.

Listened to the 4th Doc 2-parter The Paradox Planet / Legacy of Death this weekend, and absolutely loved it. Brilliant idea and plotting (though the metaphor is a bit on-the-nose), some great voice acting (DCI Meadows! Peso from Octonauts!) and fantastic use of K-9 who also gets the best lines (I'm laughing just thinking of one of them). It's also a fine homage to the Adams era. Jonathan Morris really excelling himself, and I've generally been enjoying his work lately.

Listened to The Sontarans, from The Early Adventures, yesterday and it was very good indeed. Conjures some wonderful images, and like all the Steven / Sara stories I've listened to so far it has this vague sense of doom hanging over it (for obvious reasons, but I like how it doesn't feel over-played).

Been working through my backlog from various sales this year. Thought 'No Man's Land' from the Main Range was very good. Michael Cochrane certainly pops up a lot at BF!

Currently downloading the last two stories in BF's original U.N.I.T series. I picked up the first two earlier in the year, and have been giving them a listen. Really surprised by how well they work - and how little they resemble the sort of thick-ear nonsense that traditional U.N.I.T could so easily risk dissolving into. The core cast for the series are decent, and is quite fun to hear their dynamic evolve over the first two stories.
Decided to take a punt on the last two on the strength of them being fairly cheap, and the first two having been good. Now - as they have finished downloading as I typed this - to get them unzipped and synched to the Ipad.

I was very pleasantly surprised by how decent the original UNIT run was. Works well as a complete story too. I had overlooked it until it popped up in a 99p sale.

I see from DWM that the forthcoming Warriors' Gate Target audio is an expanded version by Stephen Gallagher based on his original manuscripts. Think I might get that one. Target books were always special when they had 'extra bits' in.
