I did get the rewritten David Fisher audiobook version of Androids of Tara (I think it was that one). There was also a rewritten version of Unearthly Child done as an audiobook (read by Chesterton) but it never came out due to Audiogo going under. They do this from time to time. -Ralph

Indeed. Stones of Blood is a new version too. I just think with a story as complex as Warriors' Gate that an extended novelisation might reveal further depths. Amazon says it's 4hrs 30mins, which is on the longer side for that range. State of Decay (for example) is just over 3 hours. Logopolis is 4hrs 15mins.

I am interested in it.
I haven't heard many of the Target audiobooks as BF pump out so much DW material they tend to absorb the time/money I have for audio Who!

ONE HUNDRED POUNDS?!?!?!
If you buy that, you have to buy a record player.
Is this new narration, or is it the old BBC Audio version?

Uuuuugh I really want that but it's £100 and I'd never listen to it

Quite. Records are nice things to look at, but you wouldn't want to actually play them. It's too much hassle these days.

In the context of small run vinyl DW releases it is reasonable. Tomb of the Cybermen and City of Death were £30 for 4 episodes/2 records. This is £100 for 13 episodes/7 records. The amazon version also has a lower print run than the RSD releases. For added context we are on a forum where folk regularly drop triple figures for toys. -Ralph

I see the Amazon exclusive variant is #1 in their TV soundtrack sales chart (well today anyway).
#2 is the series 11 soundtrack.
#3 is the regular edition of DMP vinyl.
The hardcore Mavic Chen fans have turned out!

In the context of the Big Finish prices it's an absolute bargain.
I think you should buy both.

Sigh. As I have tried to point out the price is fine for what it is. Comparing it to Big Finish is pointless.
I don't dispute that is expensive however!

Sigh. As I have tried to point out the price is fine for what it is. Comparing it to Big Finish is pointless. The Big Finish vinyls. Spare Parts? £90 for four discs? £100 for seven is a bargain in comparison. Not pointless at all.

I was confused as you just said 'Big Finish' without clarification. I understand your point now. Yes their vinyl releases are silly prices.

Agreed.
It's crazy the prices they have them for, I can see why they aren't selling out, as opposed to the limited edition runs which vanish like snow off a dyke.

I don't have pennies for this sale as I pulled the trigger on Doom Coalition. With no telly Who in 2019 there is enough McGann for a box a month from February for me I haven't heard.

Yup. That is the plan. 4 sets of Doom Coalition, 3 Ravenous by end of the year, the Lucy special box in 2019 and he's in the 3rd War Master set and the BF 20th anniversary story.
McGann a week!
