JAZZ and MIRAGE are priorities for me.
I would still like a different take on Ratchet and Ironhide, with Sleds. A cartoon/toy MERGE. But that wont happen.
Think they'll get round to doing the rest of the Mini-Autobots?

I hadn't realised there were so few left. No wonder 3P has been moving into other areas. I'd like to see Trailbreaker next. Mirage and Jazz are covered by Sphinx and Downbeat.
Wow. I must check and see how much of the 84/85 crews are now accounted for in MP. It still felt to me like we were only half way.

84 is Mirage, Jazz, Trailbreaker and the 5 non BB Minibots.
85 is much more extensive: just Grimlock, Shockwave, the 3 Jets and 5 cars done. 2 cars, 3 Inseticons, 4 Dinobots, Jetfire, Perceptor, Blaster, Omega Supreme, 6 Constructicons, 5 Mini Autobots, 2 Deluxe Autobots and 4 Deluxe Insecticons to go yet

At least, not in a "vintage design accurate" kind of way. Given Tomy's tendency to hew to the designs used in the Sunbow show I'd have thought that whilst Masterpiece Skyfire might happen, an MP Jetfire almost certainly wouldn't. It would also be a bit of a blatant provocation of Bandai to do anything much closer to the Valkyrie design than the Generations one was anyway. I kind of felt that skated as close to the "legally distinct" line as most companies would want to go. (I'd like to believe in the aim of a two-fingered salute from some nameless Hasbro Bod to Harmony Gold but that may be wishful thinking on my part :-) ) Karl |

The thread question has changed as the design aesthetic of the line has changed significantly. So it is now: which toys do you want in the current Sunbow-esque style and/or what do you want in the line-up that matches the original MP design aesthetic?
So do you want all your toys to 'match' or do you just want all the *characters* made?

Right now, I'm happy enough to have the characters made. I'd prefer the Prowl style, animation model with extra deets, but I'm just happy to have them at this point.
