Yes, Easter Saturday and Easter Sunday, I believe. Sleeping space available for people travelling from Scotland on Fri., Sat. and Sun. if so desired.

It's looking doubtful I'll be able to make this due to student budget.

I'm still okay for it. I have two weeks off work at the start of April so looking forward to it. Shame you won't be able to make it Ralph.

I shall have to check whether I am off on the Friday (and if not I shall book some leave come the beginning of Feb when the leave year starts), but I should be able to make it down for that all being well.
Sorry you won't be able to make it Ralph.

I've got a 3-day residential to pay for as part of my course in March, the sum of which is mind-staggering for the duration of stay so there's no way I can afford to go anywhere else. Unless something unexpected happens.

It won't be the same without you, Ralph.
I suppose we could always have a whipround in view of Ralph's diminished circumstances?

I'm sure we can scrape up an extra train ticket if we buy at the right time.

Good. Judging from the 'Special Place in Hell' thread I think the Doc will be about due for a holiday come Easter. And there must be something in the counselling manual about the value of a little trip away every now and then.

That's very decent of you all.
I may need to be back in Glasgow City Centre Monday morning though.

Cancel it.
Both Friday and Monday are Bank Holidays, and it is against the law (I say it is!) for anyone to do anything work-like on such days.
Except for bar staff.
And taxi drivers.
And train/plane operators.
But anyone else gets thrown in jail. [Edit: Not sure by whom.]

If the placement I am in on Mondays, if it is open that Monday, I have no choice but to go in as I need to log counselling hours. It's already mathematically dubious that I'll be able to achieve the minimum required. There is no way I can negate ANY possibility to log hours.

I had a sneak at the desk diary and apparently my Monday place is closed on the, er, Easter Monday anyway. Balls.

Balls. -Ralph That's not so good for logging the hours, but on the other hand it would free us up to possibly travel back on the Monday depending on how that works in with other folks plans. Karl

I'll be around, obviously, though I may well be at a Star Wars fair in Newport on the Sunday.

Knowing them, they almost certainly will be, Phil. Re: Star Wars fair - happy to fit in with whatever people want to do. You mentioned a desire for church as well, Nick. My usual Sunday Masses are 9.30 am and 11 am, dunno yet if it'll be different on Easter Sunday, or what the time is for Good Friday afternoon. Martin

Thanks to the generosity of his friends, the Doctor will once more be touching down at the space/time rift in Cardiff to refuel his TARDIS.
