Central station is the only railway station I've been to where they have police with sniffer dogs standing next to the ticket barrier and patrolling the various walkways between each platform. Be careful that you leave the Bonio and other dog treats at home.

Bulkhead and Starscream may be accompanying me.
I'll be getting the 9:20 from Keynsham - 10:40 at Cardiff train. I'll be making one change at Filton Abbey Wood.

I shan't be coming up on Friday.
On Saturday, I shall drive straight to the Bay rather than coming into town, parking at the Red Dragon Centre (Dr Who Exhibition + bowling centre). Where shall we meet?
PMing me mobile numbers might be useful.

OK, shall we say 11.30 Sat. at the entrance to the Doctor Who exhibition? I'm sure one of the others can 'text' you on your new-fangled portable telephone contraption thingy if either Phil or Ken look like being late.
TORCHWOOD EPISODE 11 SPOILER Weather forecast looks dodgy at the mo, but would be nice to get a boat over to the Barrage, since it has now been revealed that that is where Torchwood have their underground facility for looking after victims of the space-time rift.

Adbot is putting up a "take a Doctor Who break" link in my PM area. www.parkplaza.com/offers/1023725/pkpHeh. If I were feeling a bit of a sneaky b*****d, I would inform BBC Worldwide of this, because I doubt Park Plaza have a licence to advertise using the Doctor Who name.

They have a plug here, so I guess it's above board. Free Dalek for those who sign up, apparently. Blinkin' heck, just found this site. Stick in something like "Queen Street, Cardiff, UK" and 1 mile, and see what comes up. It's easier to list where Doctor Who hasn't been filmed than where it has! Martin

Ah hah! That was Merthyr Mawr in "Adam". I had a funny feeling it was. Your right though, they do seem to be making good use of the local area. (Quite right too - nothing like getting a nice wide variety of locations).

Hey, what a great site. I shall have some fun looking at that.
I sent them a submission. They have Margam Orangery and Dyffryn Gardens as locations, as I had recognised, for Gwen's wedding, but they didn't have Court Colman Manor Hotel for the interiors (foyer and bar, not sure about the rooms and corridors). One of my brothers had his wedding reception there; I also had a publicity photo shoot there for my drama society a few years ago. Funnily enough, I had a shoot at Southerndown too, which was later where the Doctor and Rose said goodbye.
Phil, don't worry, I'd already put Stockade on the table downstairs so I don't forget him.

Thanks for coming, everyone! Hope you all had a good time, and that the flight to Scotland is a smooth one! Nick - I forgot to give you the money I planned to for your sponsored run. However, I also forgot to claim back from you for today's lunch once you'd been to the cashpoint. Please pass the money from the one pot to the other! Ralph - sadly, M&S at Cardiff Central only had 500ml bottle of M&S cola, for 80p each, so I passed on that. The experience will have to wait until I next visit the big store! Click here for the Longtooth Virus quiz. Martin

Thanks for coming, everyone! Hope you all had a good time, and that the flight to Scotland is a smooth one! Martin The flight to Scotland was a nice smooth one thanks Martin. We even got in about ten minutes early. From there the Scots contingent voyaged into Edinburgh on the bus and then separated to get trains home to their various home towns. I think I can safely say that we had a great time. Really good to see folks again, and the boat ride and the bowling were a lot of fun. Thanks for putting us up/putting up with us (delete as applicable)Martin. Karl

I got in about 15 minutes ago. Karl, you've got, among other items, my thyroxine. Is it okay if I pop by after work and pick it up?
Many thanks to Martin for giving us floorspace/beds/hospitality/bowling/muppets, and to everybody who showed up for the fine banter.
