This may have an impact on future Marvel films. re news this week that the films side is now under disney & not Marvel - but due to staff being told to cut money spend on Cap3. Surely they must be using the money made from the already released films to plow into the new films when they make all that money back & more. But there could also be the side where actors say they want paying more if you want me to play that character seeing you are making so much money.

This isn't main Movie news - but you never know the stories might effect future movies.
Tv series
X-men - Legion Hellfire club - (but this was renamed the Circle club in the X-men cartoon because you couldn't use the name Hell in a kids show but this series should be adult - mainly with what Emma Frost goes round wearing)

Here's the Television comicbook breakdown: We have five primary networks. ABC, NBC, CBS, CW, and Fox. Disney owns ABC. Fox owns Fox, Warner Bros owns CW, and is also affiliated with CBS. Disney airs SHIELD and Carter on ABC. And potentially the Ms Marvel series they're talking about.
WB airs Arrow, Flash, and iZombie, and will air Legends of Tomorrow on CW. It will air Supergirl (which may or may not be part of the CWverse) on CBS. No clue why. NBC had Constantine. I have no clue why. But Stephen Amell campaigned hard to try to save it, even offering to guest star for no pay (may be wrong about that last part, but this is my understanding) as Arrow to try to help boost ratings. NBC wouldn't go for it and cancelled anyway. Amell talked CW into letting Constantine come guest star in Arrow this season, so Constantine is now part of the CWverse. And potentially has a second chance at the show restarting. Gotham airs on Fox, for reasons completely unknown to me. But it's not part of the CWverse. Also, so far... With the single exception of iZombie... All the networks are getting along. None of them has scheduled any of these shows to compete with another. Until CW put iZombie opposite SHIELD/Carter (which share a timeslot, alternating). Supergirl is an unknown, as it'll be on monday, as is Gotham. Gotham's on at 7pm, while Supergirl's timeslot is still unannounced.
To the fox/disney: There *is* a rumor I've heard hear-say about that Disney and Fox may have come to an understanding. Rumor doesn't say if it's like the deal with Sony over Spiderman, or if Disney is in the process of buying back X-Men. But if Disney doesn't get control, I'm fully expecting them to cut off marvel's nose to spite their face, and not only sink X-Men, but retcon mutants out of existance. They already killed Wolverine. That's like... One of the signs of the end of the world, right there. And they're already replacing mutants by shoehorning Inhumans into the exact same role. And you know, it's all about not sharing profit. Because it's not like Disney doesn't see money coming in from Fox's marvel Licenses. They just get it on the back end as any franchise owner does. Just like they could have brought Wolverine and the X-Men over onto the Disney Channel, instead of having it cancelled so fox couldn't make anything off it. But if Disney got X-Men back, they'd drop the inhumans like a bad habit. Both in cinema and comics.
I'm on the fence myself. On one hand, if Disney got X-Men back, we wouldn't see them until 2020. On the other hand, Fox hasn't exactly done a stellar job with them. X-Men was great, but it's kinda dated now. X2 was great. And First Class was the best of them all. DofP and The Wolverine were largely forgettable, while X3 and XMO Wolverine were bloody awful. But in comparison, even the worst marvel movies like Incredible Hulk and AoU bare the crime of just being mediocre or forgettable. There's not been anything (yet) that hasn't been enjoyable enough to watch.

this may back up the rumour in your last post about Marvel TV Shows; screenrant.com/marvel-tv-fox-hellfire-legion/on another note, rumour is the final Wolverine movie is Old Man Logan, which if anyone has read the comic series should know that its widely acclaimed to be one of the best Xmen series. personally I think its class, a dead interesting and very engrossing comic series.

Why is the Hulk being dissed more than Fan4 team in the film? Cut from Cap3 but might show up in thor3? Or might get cut & seems Hulk2 if it was ever planned is a no go. The Hulk cartoon series is good with his team - is it because he has a team but it's Ironman's team in the films (but Hulk is in the Avengers cartoon too)

Hulk was removed from Civil War because Mark Rufallo said they're planning something "really big" for Hulk, and CW would screw it up. Though he also said they didn't tell him what they were planning. Sound to me like a Planet Hulk movie. So I really don't think Hulk is getting dissed. He also wasn't part of the civil war comic because Ironman decided to be a dick.

There is the whole how close they are following the comics side, but if they are letting the Hulk run with the cartoon series & also maybe it costs more to do the Hulk in the films rather than the other characters.

Boy that leaves me cold.
Not a comic fan, never really cared much do do a series like x-men, created a bland concept and reverse engineered it to add x-men characters.
it's like they looked at what Disney does with the marvel movies, and WB does with the DC tv, and said "Nope. We're gonna do what we would do in the nineties!"

"GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY" cartoon series airs 7/11/15. Just need to check if this is right & time slot. But I expect this should follow the cartoon universe to slot in & no go like a film tie in.

It's a very odd show. Basically, take the movie as is, and graft it into the Ultimate Avengers and the Agents of SMASH continuity. It kinda contradicts established Guardians lore for that continuity, too. And not good voice casting. And the cheapest animation yet. I have no love for the horrible disney marvel cartoons, but this one sucks pretty bad.

What are peoples views over the whole Marvel Fox business? this reports Fox are blaming Fan4 film for the 28% loss because they loss $100 million on the film (but doesn't state if they lost money on other films). www.newsarama.com/26632-fantastic-four-blamed-for-declining-fox-revenue.htmlI think the reason we are just getting it all blamed on Fan 4 is Marvel effectively removing the team from the comics & really going out their way to do it too. It like bosses (i guess it disney bossed not Marvel) are saying we want the rights back or we'll remove the character. But we have seen the team removed - but are the disney bosses stupid enough to try the same trick for X-men film rights. I think not because they make too much money. Also we have the ongoing issue with Hulk due to Universal have the rights to Hulk & they are not giving them up.

In the spirit of 'The Shockprowl Must... Thread' I would like to propose a 'Phil Must' campaign to get him to watch his Marvel movies. He owns them all, his wife has watched them and enjoyed them, but Phil hasn't. This includes 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier'.
Something Must Be Done About It.

That won't do at all. Some of those are really rather good. Iron Man 1-3, Cap 2 and the two most recent X-Men are marvellous fun.

And Ant-Man is out on sale a week tomorrow.
I was thinking perhaps we could help Phil by establishing which films are on his unwatched list and having a poll to decide which is in greatest need of being seen first.
It's for his own good.

I agree with Martin. It is madness that Phil has these films to hand yet has not watched them.

I would go as far as to say literally unbelievable, as if Phil is a contestant on 'Would I Lie To You' and been given a particularly fake lie.

I can be a comic fan without being a comic based film fan. Especially when the films are having undue influences and forcing changes in the comics.
But the sad fact is that it's rare that I get 2 hours in an evening to sit down and watch a film without something else being on or the pain necessitating a (literal) early bath.
For the record I've seen:
All the X-Men films The first Wolverine film The first Iron man film (even though the soundmix was all over the shop when we watched it) The first Thor film The first two (I think) Spiderman films.
I've also seen Batman Begins and Dark Knight. And Green Lantern which is two hours of my life I won't get back again in a hurry thank you Andu.
I've bought all the rest for Liz, who enjoys them, which is why most of them are on DVD rather than BD so she can watch them upstairs while working or take them away withher.

Well if you want the advice of KING BLUESHIFT, here are my thoughts on what you haven't seen but I have:
Iron Man 2: Couldn't remember anything about it moments after finishing it. Iron Man 3: I thought this was good fun and thought the amount of fans getting upset about the Mandarin hilarious. Also it's a Christmas film, released around the world in May. Good time now to watch it actually. Thor 2: Couldn't remember anything about it moments after finishing it. Captain America 2: NOT SEEN IT NYA NYA HUBBERS Guardians of the Galaxy: 10/10 would again Avengers: Most of the fun is from the novelty, it's actually a really slow start and then a long fight scene against mindless alien drones. Avengers Age of Ultron: Most of the film is a long fight scene against mindless robotic drones.
