Finished up and built Radiatron this week, 5/6 trains are great, combined modeis solid but Moon Shine / Shouki is utter trash.

Oh I really want that Pluto reissue! I love the Planet X style and I really like that Megatron. The colour change on the reissue is fab.
Random dispatch from omegalock means FT toy colours Galvatron arrived today thirty minutes after I left for a week's holiday. Balls.

I have all the Planet X Dinos. I wanted him to go with those because the FoC style Shockwave isn't very good. They'd look good together.

All this talk of third party Megatrons has got me reminiscing about Hegemon. Remember him? He was my 'Classics' Megatron for ages, right up to Siege. I still have Apollyon as my MP Megatron, but he just sits in the loft like my other MPs. I'd sell them all on if I could be bothered. But then again, I've have all the '84 Deceptions in MP so it would mean breaking that up.

I still prefer Apollyon to MP-36. He just looks more like Megatron to me and has more presence in a display. I've never put him next to Transform Element Optimus though. Not sure it would work.
MP is an expensive mess now when it comes to a uniform look. I thought I was done with '84, but the MP-11 mould jets just don't look right with everything else now and the new ones are way too small. The Deformation Space ones look great, but that's another £400 out the window just to update an aesthetic.
It's disheartening trying to keep it all together. In fact when I opened FT Trailbreaker recently I put him on the shelf and thought, yes he looks great, the proportions are far better than the pot-bellied MP and he's got a premium finish Takara just can't compete with, but who is he going to look good stood next to?

I'd no idea he came with a flight stand. Did the original? Also impressed by having two cannon options; toy sparkly and cartoon solid.
Now you can stop for a bit, FT. That and Trailbreaker a month apart was a bit of a shock. Don't be putting Hoist out too quick.
