If that underground station turns out to be part of the Death Star in the film I may explode with excitement.
NO SPOILERS.

I could probably get as far as the Jubilee line?

A new trailer was apparently screened in London today revealing a certain character.

I was watching the Celebration coverage (on a delay) yesterday and they yanked the video just as the video above (I assume) was about to be shown. Very strange. I hear a spoiler was accidentally given away during the panel so maybe that had something to do with it, I dunno.
As for the actual trailer I found a poor quality copy which seemed... OK. Didn't massively excite me, but with most of my time spent trying to figure out what the blobs I was looking at represented, it's not really fair to judge it. I went for an immediate rewatch only to see that the Disney Ninjas had removed it. I assume it'll turn up officially soon, but then I thought that about the one last year (when it was called Star Wars Anthology: Rogue One) and that's never been seen again.

Was that Alan Tudyk in the video? Did I know he was in this?

I can imagine a general audience being very confused as to where Rey and chums are. I do not envy the folks tasked with marketing this film!

A rather dull trailer, I thought.

Yeah, the first trailer was a lot better.

I can't help but find myself comparing it to the trailer for the "Magnificent Seven" remake in some respects, and it does come up rather short on that front. It feels like it is doing the same "recruiting the rag-tag band" schtick but with substantially less verve and flair than the "Seven" remake has shown.
(Actually, more than anything else, that "Seven Samurai" feel is what I am getting from the publicity for this film. There is a little dash of "Dirty Dozen" there, but especially with this trailer it does feel like the "mismatched group of not-quite heroes" recruited to go on a dangerous mission against the odds" flavour of the former).

The Magnificent Seven trailer did nothing for me other than 'it is a Western'. Painfully generic.

Every trailer for this is worse than the one before. And Felicity Jones has gone from sardonic rebel to dull cheerleader. I'll still be front and centre opening night, but every new thing I hear about this film just puts me off now.

I thought the trailer was unoriginal but a bit better than the last couple.

I agree that the film looks more poo the more we see of it but I do not care because...Felicity Jones!
I also feel the SW fever gripping me again as many items of toys and tat begin to appear in shops. This is in sharp contrast to this year's Star Trek movie/ST's 50th anniversary where the sum total of merch I saw was...the cardboard tray for Cineworld hot dogs.

I'm preying this is going to be a 12, or I'm going to end up in the same school trip situation I did last year.
However, if there is a sticker book, I will buy it.

I should be experiencing Star Wars fever by now but it's just not happening this time. I'm not even feeling the urge to pick up some of the tat (other than some trading cards). I am not sure why.

TFA was about finally moving the story forward on film after 30 odd years. Exciting. Rogue Ones just filling in more of the back story which hasnt worked so well for Star Wars. Apart from Clone Wars that was fantastic. At least thats been my feeling on it so far.
Having said that I am eagerly waiting to book tickets for Imax.
