Any noticed that #93 is missing from the print order listed for #1? so its #78-92,94,95
I think the recoloured print of #228-233,235,236,240-249 could turn up in v17 to go along with US #62-67 which is only 6 issues. This would then cover the whole Thunderwing becoming leader. But those issue would count has 9 US issues so 6 of them could turn up in Earthforce run v20

But the mock up of the spines does show 75 volumes so its possible they have the option to expand the line.
IDW are putting out 36+ issues a year now so would keep it with a steady supply of content. And they could expand beyond G1 to Beast Wars Armada etc. Even the 2007 movie stuff would be quite nice to see again by that point.
Or maybe UK G2 or just randomly reprint the madly coloured german reprints.

This sounds brilliant. I'm a bit worried it'll fold halfway through, but it seems quite well put together. I hope they publish all the G1, G2 and Dreamwave stuff before they get to IDW so it can stand as one block, but they'll probably jump all over the place. £20 a month direct debit will be perfectly manageable, though when you think you're about to spend nearly £600 (or whatever the total price is) on stuff you already own it doesn't quite feel as right...

I have a feeling they're just going as far as Dreamwave not IDW and the 'creators' thing is just who they've got interviews etc with

Stormbringer is in this test run, so they're definitely doing IDW stuff (as it has to be done in cooperation with IDW it'd be strange not to!).
Chap I know on another forum who deals with partworks is fairly confident the general cheapness and ubiquitousness of the various previous Marvel TF collections will kill this at trial. Though the generally cheap nature of the material (and they're clearly not spending anything on proofreading!) might help it.
Assuming a November start, at two issues a month it'd finish early in the new year. At that stage, if it's done well, the smart thing would be to wait a few months till June and the chance to ride the coattails of the film for the nationwide release I'd have thought.

Ralph tells me he got a confirmation email in which he noticed both his name and delivery address were wrong so logged on to the Hachette site. This did not show the TF series but the Marvel one he cancelled 2 year ago. He updated his details and put in the TF order number. All this info then vanished and the site thinks he is still only subbed to the Marvel site.
He then 'pounded the ground'

I hadn't realised this is actually out, there's a photo of an "In hand" version of T:2006 in the TFW thread. Though they don't say where the test area is!
So subscribers may have less of a wait than I'd thought.
Also, that thread has basically been hijacked by a VERY ANGRY PERSON who is disgusted at the term Generation One being used for anything but Marvel as GENERATION ONE ENDED WHEN GENERATION 2 STARTED.

They also seems to be mention of hate towards IDW on those US news sites to - I've never seen this before (apart from windblade hate)
But I'm looking round shops this weekend still for it but have got my confirm email for subs from #1.

Also, that thread has basically been hijacked by a VERY ANGRY PERSON who is disgusted at the term Generation One being used for anything but Marvel as GENERATION ONE ENDED WHEN GENERATION 2 STARTED. Which is also wrong as Generation One was never used as an official branding until Dreamwave's ongoing. I do personally take issue with calling the IDW material Generation One, though, or even a version of Generation One. It's be like insisting that Marvel's Ultimate books are actually 616. But I'll get over it.

I used G1 up thread, I didn't really want to, I was going to write 80s stuff, but then remembered some of it is 1990s, so I was just 'screw it, I'll just write G1'. In hindsight, original Marvel issues would have worked better. I also don't like referring to IDW stuff as G1.

Signed up to this too, the newly colorised B&W stuff plus the 332 in order for the first time made it a no-brainer for me.
Got the welcome email too but the sub number isn't working for me either.

This is good then. Ralph's been resubbed to a collection he stopped, Browny's getting crochet monthly and everyone else doesn't actually know what they're subbed to.
Winner!
