I'd say I thought the Hama/Kubert run from 75-100 is probably the best run on the title.

Was in the very start of the Panini Wolverine. It's probably the best run in the regular title and brings it in closer to the main X-comics after some..... odd stuff in the first 30 issues. Ahhh right. So I have read some but not all of it. -Ralph

New Mutants Epic 5 Sudden Death for £19.79: www.booksetc.co.uk/books/view/-9781302930844Martin, you might want a copy of this one. It bridges the end of Classics 5 and the start of Epic 6. First half was in a fall of the Mutants book, second half between FotM and Inferno hasn't been in a paperback trade before

"Things have gotten a little complicated. Nebula, a woman of questionable virtue, has infiltrated an organization of alternate reality Kangs and stolen their secrets. She has reduced the proud Avengers to the status of total mind slaves... and she is presently soaring with them in a Quinjet altered to fly through time as well as space!"
Today Martin has been reading Avengers #294-297 and Annual #17.

Magneto's family died in WWII concentration camps.
The Red Skull is a Nazi.
In Captain America #367 they have it out.
Blimey.

Finished Phil's 'Avengers: Acts of Vengeance' TPB this morning. It's a bit random and lacking in structure, and the evil plot makes no sense, but some of the individual issues in it are decent enough.
Tonight I'm reading Avengers #314-318, the five-part Avengers/Spider-Man cosmic team-up story, which is much, much better. Tight, likeable cast, coherent plot, good banter.

The good news is I've finished my novel pile, so it's no longer competing with Phil's Doctor Strange and Avengers Epic Collections for my reading time. The bad news is the last few days have gone on lazy box set bingeing rather than reading. And I have a complete set of Valerian & Laureline hardback anthologies calling to me. But they can get in line behind the Epics. If I don't make progress on them tomorrow, you can scold me via Zoom.

I have finished the seven issues comprising 'The Crossing Line' and 'The Avengers Crew'. They were not good. Why didn't anybody warn me?
Next in the collection is the five-part 'Terminus Factor'. Surely it must be better than what came before??
I am similarly now seven issues into 'The Reality War'.
