My mad theory question is, how many TF ideas did Simon Furman get from reading Avengers comics? (For example, was the title 'The Legacy of Unicron' inspired by 'The Legacy of Thanos'?)
And in terms pf this volume, was 'Perchance to Dream' inspired by 'The Avengers Crew' (the backup strip in Avengers #319-324)?
And was 'The 4,000,000-Year Itch' inspired by 'Clowning Around' from Avengers Annual #19? (Builders give Avengers tour of new mansion compound while beating up super-villains quietly in the background so the Avengers don't notice.)

Made significant progress today. Finished the Avengers Epic. It helped that the worst stuff ('The Crossing Line') was at the start. Then came 'The Terminus Factor', which I enjoyed, and then finally several issues written by Larry Hama. I quite liked the Doctor Doom 2-parter. As for Rage, I'd seen him on the Marvel Legends figures rack in FP and wondered who he was. Now I know, he's a 12-year-old kid who loves his granny.
Half-way through the Doctor Strange Epic.
