You need R-TYPE 1 and 2. SW Episode 1 Pod Racer isn't bad. Mario Golf is good.

I was just looking at the list of carts I still have. I got shot of my GB carts when I changed to a GB Micro because it doesn't play them, but I kept Cannon Fodder GBC just because it's Cannon Fodder, but also Mario Golf GBC because it's a fantastic game.
I've probably got collector lists and guides to the best games in Retro Gamer. I know I kept a couple of definitive GBA guides from GamesTM.
So sad. Half an hour ago I had an email saying GamesTM is ceasing publication with the issue on sale next week. Issue 206. I've been reading that since issue one. It's been my indispensable guide to what to play for sixteen years. Guess it's back to Edge. Or maybe OPM these days.

Oooooh - pixelly goodness! Andy It is in no way shape or form a good game BUT it is a Beast Wars 2 Gameboy game and I love that it exists. Price wasn't awful, £9 posted from Japan. You see them about a lot for £15-20, but I was waiting out a cheaper one. |

After a year and a half, finally finished the Gameboy Zero. It will probably explode in a few days, but it's working right now. Still a weird short in the power, but I've glued it all down and that's stopped it for the moment. Could never get the sound nice though   Couldn't get it to close up fully either. Really need to reinforce the struts as the screws are biting through them. I ended up glue-gunning round the edges too. Lots of lessons learnt making this!!  |
