Explain! What is a Gameboy zero? An emulator in a Gameboy case? Yup! Can do any system up to 16 bit. The screen is from a car parking monitor! The insides are from the depths of a nightmare. Drilled some holes in the front for the additional two buttons, and added some shoulder buttons in the back

Very nice work. I am impressed. Andy That's good, 90% of what I do is a desperate attempt to gain your approval. I was making this for my sister last Christmas! Now to see if it actually holds together (I am half expecting it to implode, though hoping that now it's glued down and screwed tightly together it'll be okay, there is some uh, not great soldering going on inside!!) This is also one of the last bits of the Christmas gauntlet I have! Also work's winding down now so I can actually start to relax and do all the TFN stuff I have to get done!

Current Gameboy game status. What else do I want? Obviously going after the other Zeldas, and the Star Treks

What you want... is a box to put them in. They'll get dusty like that.

There is a slot on the back of a game boy where games go and could be stored. Buy lots of game boys and problem solved!

Had a shot of the Beast Wars II fighting game in Brum thanks to Matt.
A button bashing affair with no real technique required. Played it online thanks to I think tf.net waaay back, but it was good to have played the proper version.

Yeah it's nice that it exists, and it's nice to have the Beast Wars and Beast Wars 2 pixel characters, but it's not great. Also really sad the music wasn't the BW2 theme

Just in case this is of any interest... Selling off my old Game Boy games via eBay (well, my dad is, as they're still at my folks place). There's the two WWF Superstars games, Star Trek, Jurassic Park, Soccer, Speedball 2 and Super Mario Land. Fond memories of them! www.ebay.co.uk/sch/macshadow62/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=Cheers, Jonathan

Played through Daikatana again recently. Pretty on the rails, puzzles pretty basic, but fun enough.
Then out of curiosity I looked to see how much it goes for... Something of a collector's item now as it was only released physically in Europe and didn't sell too well based on the pc/n64 reputation.
Just played through Zelda Links Awakening DX for the first time. Now this is a game. Genuinely doesn't feel like a Gameboy Color game it's that good. Only disappointment with it are the random blow up the wall puzzles. Almost tempted to play through the Switch version it was so enjoyable. (4 heart pieces eluded me though, 2 underwater and 2 behind unmarked bombed walls, did I miss a clue for these? Also forgot to return to the fish and get song 2 :/ )
Also amazing how well my 25 year old GBC is doing. Still in perfect condition except a few minor scratches on the screen. Battery life is way longer than I remember, is it because AA are better now?
