You know what, I think CJ's the worst offender so far. Quite unbelievable.

You've not seen any Bond film??? I've never been able to sit through one. I couldn't even tell you what was happening, or what ones I tried. I don't care much for action movies, and I really don't like spy movies.

I haven't seen Guardians of the Galaxy. *sigh* I haven't seen Guardians of the Galaxy. This is on my list of Marvel Universe films I have not seen. Which in simple terms is everything after Iron Man. Martin will drop by to criticise me shortly I'm sure! *double sigh* My most notable gap is the Godfather trilogy. That and I dont really watch horror films so add any notables of the genre. I have watched Rocky and Balboa and Creed, but I dont think Ive watched most of the original sequels. At least not properly. Creed is actually very good. Rambo. Again seen the first not seen most of the sequels properly. Ive caught bits, but usually on in the back ground or I fall asleep during them. Or turn them on after they start.

There was a recent attempt to watch predator a few weeks ago. I never saw it because it had never been accessible to me. But had the opportunity, and couldn't sit through it.

My list is a mix of things I never had an oppportunity to see (first rambo and rocky), thinks I never want to see (torture porn like Saw), and things that just generate zero interest (spy and mafia movies)

Predator is great apart from the bits where it is surprisingly boring. It doesn't help that the Predator is now such a familiar cultural icon. Fun fact, they actually reshot a lot of it. Originally the Predator was played by van Damme dressed as a giant prawn

To be fair, I think if I'd never seen Predator and tried to watch it now I don't know how much I'd enjoy it. It's a very 80's action film. Unlike Alien and it's first couple of sequels, which are a lot more timeless.
Putting those two together was a mistake.

There are, however, certain classics that can be seen as being fairly significant to cinema. But, at the end of the day, I think the timeless phrase 'Each to their own' rings true. Except for Die Hard. And- THE CORE!!!!

Never saw the first two.
My story of Zardoz, comes from me and my friend crawling around a video rental store looking for something fun and/or bad to watch. We weren't having much luck finding anything that stuck out. Then I saw it. That magnificent cover. Him in all His 1970s nearly naked glory. Neither of us had heard of Zardoz, and this was before IMDB. I picked up the cassette and held it up, calling out my friend's name. He looked up, and from across the store, he pointed and shouted "Sean Connery in a diaper! That's IT!" We immediately rented it and quickly headed back to his place, plugged it into the VCR, and promptly enjoyed an hour and forty-five minutes of pure solid "wtf?"
And I have been a devout believer ever since.

I haven't seen any of the Bay TF films after the first one. That's a perfect place to stop actually. For all the bad things I said about it at the time, it is significantly better than that which came after it. "Transformers" at least saw Michael Bay sort of try to make a reasonably coherent film. His level of interest in doing so clearly declines on a steady curve thereafter. Karl
