These are all lovely. I think I have the Brawn, I have a black Bumblebee ko that is very pretty too. I've never seen either of the others before and I want them both. Perhaps Windy is slightly more beautiful in shiny black, so him.

They were arguing and complaining too much on the day of the key chain auditions. Mainly about having spend their lives dangling around someone's rotten trousers.
Also, not sure where the connector ring would work on the Huffer toy - if it were in his hood, then I'm sure it would just pull it into a semi-transformed position when he is hanging.

We don't do straight reissues in these polls but neither of these toys has identical contents to a previous release! Megatron is in his US colours, red inner legs and inner arms, and includes ALL the accesories the US version had, a first for a Japanese Transformers Megatron release. He also includes the sword, firing mechanism and bullets (red) from previous versions of Japanese Megatron AND, for the first time in any Transformers, the firing mechanism in the stock New Year Convoy has an Anime colour scheme, including Blue Windows, both versions of his blaster, a matrix, an Anime coloured Action Master Optimus, the only Action Master to be sold in Japan, a sheet of Autobot symbol stickers and a Mousemat.

No contest here. To get a reissue Action Master with the original version thrown in as a bonus is The Dream

NYC22 was the first time I ever owned the Prime/Convoy mould and it was a magical experience. I was blown away by the whole thing. Also, in context, this was before so many Optimus toys came with a Matrix so that also felt very special.
Throwing in AM Prime was icing on the cake!
I still have NYC22 though it does have some sun damage. I'll never get rid of it!
I didn't own a Megatron until the TFC release, which was when I fully appreciated it. I had thought it was rubbish when I was a kid.

Probably ought to give some chronology for the period of reissues we're talking about here. We've already had Classics in Europe and Japanese reissues of Dinobots, Aerialbots and Trainbots. We believe both of these have links to the Chinese run of Transformers in the late 80s/early 90s as do the moulds reued in G2. The modern round of reissues starts in 2000 with a straight reissue of 1 Convoy tfwiki.net/wiki/Optimus_Prime_(G1)/toys All of these early reissues have something very similar to their original boxes, and many of them have limited edition recolours through EHobby, or similar, that we'll be looking at in the next few weeks. Reissues then follow regularly after that: December 2000 C-69 Ultra Magnus December 2000 C-78 Hot Rodidmus 2001 God Ginrai March 2001 16-S Megatron June 2001 22 Starscream During the summer of 2001 a number of cars and jets are reissued in Japan at various locations and with VERY limited availability. To date Red Alert, Ramjet, Thrust & Dirage, and Grapple are yet to have a mass market rerelease in Japan 05/27 World Character Convention 12: Sideswipe & Red Alert 04/27 05/17-06/11 E-Hobby Ratchet & Ironhide 06/10 Super Festival 21: Thundecracker & Skywarp 07/29 Jafcon 10: Ramjet & Thrust 07/24-08/03 20th Century Toy Museum: Dirge 08/05 Wonder Festival Summer: Inferno & Grapple 08/26 C3 convention: Trailbreaker & Hoist 2001 Keychain Minibot blindboxes December 2001 C-77 Rodimus Convoy early 2002 New Year Convoy Februry 2002 D-98 Sixshot (The limited edition New Year Red Alert & Sideswipe are released round this point) May 2002 SixLiner blindboxes September 2002 SixTurbo blindboxes New packaging has been done for the blindboxes, most of which looks very traditionally Transformers but in 2002 both Hasbro and Takara start lines of reissues in stiffer cardboard boxes with an opening front panel and new, or altered, package graphics. 2002-2004 Commemorative Series tfwiki.net/wiki/The_Transformers:_Generation_One_Commemorative_SeriesJuly 2002-March 2006 Transformers Collection tfwiki.net/wiki/The_Transformers_CollectionBut around these the original format packging and blindboxes continue for toys that don't fit Hasbro & Takara's book format reissues, above.
