Wow, the extended cut of the Bumblebee-smashes-up-the-house scene is substantially different.

Picked up the Blu-ray today. Straight-faced Agent Burns is awesome in the outtakes. Martin Indeed he is. I loved the bit at the end where Cena and the kid are clearly just trying to crack each other up.

Just finished watching it again. It remains the one feature-length TF film to date with emotional weight and a well-acted human lead. Quality stuff.

Bay, whether hands on or hands off, seems to be a pretty decent executive producer.

I saw the first Turtles film, and thought it was decent enough. Not seen the sequel though, so can't comment on that. A lot of his executive producer credits seem to be on TV projects that haven't crossed my path (Black Sails, Last Ship, Jack Ryan).

Black Sails is good. By the fourth season the production values had risen to the point the sea battles were really well done.

Both turtles are good.
Last Ship was pretty interesting. A virus kills of the majority of the planet and a navy ship is sent to collect a scientist who maybe able to create a cure. then they have to suvive viruses, pirates, foriegn powers, storms etc. It could have been cheesy as hell but it was played seriously with bays usual eye for military details.
It probably ran for too long, but the early seasons at least were very good.

Shockprowl is right. Bumblebee is the only good TF film, which captures the true spirit of Transformers. Martin I have not seen Bumblebee. But now... I will.

I reckon you're missing out there, Ralph. BB is a really good film.
However, cheese and melon grating aside (what DOES go on here when I go out for the evening?), '86 is the finest Transformer film by a country mile.

To be honest, Ralph, BB Bumblebee is a completely separate character to Bay's Bumblebee. The only thing in common is the lack of voice, and that is given a proper on screen explanation, and the film makes it work so so well.
It is the 'best' TF film, as in it's a film that actually wants to be a film, not either an extended advert or an excuse for explosions. And I say that as someone who adores the '86 film.

I'm just not interested. The Last Knight was the last staw for me with TF films. I don't bother with them now. There is so much TF 'stuff' that I just ignore what doesn't interest me now.
I saw the trailers for Bumblebee. It looked shit so I didn't go see it.

But I'll give Bumblebee a shot if and when it comes on the telly, based on wise Marin's recommendation.
