I might pop along for Friday night/Sat/Sun but really depends on Real Life stuff in next few months, a lot of which I can't predict at this particular point in time. It would be nice to see some folk I haven't seen for a few years.

TFNation 2019 has a bit of a big name to announce, hailing from Taiwan and the artistic world of the Transformers, and another UK first appearance: Transformers comics and packaging artist E.J. Su! Anyone who had been following the IDW comics prior to the current reboot will remember Su's work on the very first issues of Infiltration, through Escalation, Devastation, Revelation, a handful of Spotlights, via All Hail Megatron - reaching all the way to Phase 2's The Transformers and Lost Light for a final couple of pages before the universe ended. Currently an industrial designer, his work can also be seen on some of the covers for The Transformers: The IDW Collection. Outside of the Transformers universe, Su is credited with the co-creation alongside Robert Kirkman, of Tech Jacket for Image Comics, and was the main artist for three issues of the Devil's Due Press G.I. Joe vs The Transformers II short series. If comics are not your thing, however, you may still recognise his art from some of the biggest hitters in the Transformers: Armada toyline: from Optimus Prime to Hot Shot, from Megatron to High Wire, most of the major players in the series' line-up were in his capable hands - and probably part of the reason for purchasing the toys themselves! E.J. Su will be attending the convention all weekend, talking about his experience with the birth of a narrative universe and art skills, and hopefully creating new art too! We look forward to welcoming him and all of you to TFNation 2019. Stay tuned for more updates! If you want to ensure you receive all announcements, join our mailing list at tfnation.com.

Where would you get one from? No where round the Metropole sells pizzas except the Pizza Express in Resorts World and that's ridiculously overpriced.
I've never noticed before that Metropole almost sounds like Metroplex. There's a con shirt idea. Transforming hotel.

Hurrah for Ralph going to TFN! It's by no means certain. I may not have the pennies. It depends on Real Life stuff but if I can it would be nice as I haven't seen some folk in many years and there is a con related thing I would like to be there for, if I can. -Ralph

We have another comics-sourced guest to announce, a veteran of several iterations of the books in fact: current IDW Transformers artist Andrew Griffith! Starting his work on IDW comics alongside Chris Mowry in the 2009 prequel to live-action movie Revenge of the Fallen series Defiance, Griffith has since taken part in virtually every aspect of the previous IDW Transformers universe: All Hail Megatron, Robots in Disguise, Lost Light, Optimus Prime, and Unicron, plus the live-action tie-in series Foundation and the Bumblebee prequel. He also worked on the Hasbroverse title Micronauts: Wrath of Karza, Revolutionaries, and M.A.S.K., and the DVD covers for two editions of Shout! Factory's 25th Anniversary of The Transformers movie. Most recently, however, he has brought his art skills once more back to IDW, and designed a new character for the latest incarnation of their Transformers comics series! Outside of Transformers, you can also find his work on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Snake Eyes, Jem and the Holograms, Back to the Future, Atomic Robo, and more, including the anthology in support of the Orlando Pulse shooting victims and survivors, Love is Love. Andrew Griffith will be attending the convention all weekend, chatting about Transformers comics new and old, talking character design, and hopefully creating new art too! We look forward to welcoming him and all of you to TFNation 2019. Stay tuned for more updates! If you want to ensure you receive all announcements, join our mailing list at tfnation.com.

This year, TFNation is going far and wide to procure guests you wouldn't otherwise be able to access in our little robo-community - specifically, we're bringing the animation studio behind the official Hasbro Transformers: Cyberverse animated series, Boulder Media! Boulder Media started in 2000, and made their big name on the animation scene with US and UK TV shows the likes of Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, El Tigre, Wander Over Yonder and The Amazing World of Gumball - working with established kid TV networks such as Cartoon Network, Disney, and Nickelodeon. They were also behind the highly successful Danger Mouse reboot in 2015. In the world of Transformers, however, they are behind the two most recent animated series from the world of Cybertron (and Earth) with Transformers: Cyberverse and Transformers: Rescue Bots Academy as their two main productions for Hasbro and its Allspark Animation studios. Joining us at TFNation, we are lucky enough to have not one, but three of their crew who worked on Cyberverse specifically: Ehud Landsberg (Co-Director), Jean Texier (Co-Director), and Marco Caradonna (Art Director). The Boulder Media crew will be attending the convention all weekend, and there will be a chance to ask questions about the production process for the series, so stay tuned for more updates! We look forward to welcoming them and all of you to TFNation 2019! If you want to ensure you receive all announcements, join our mailing list at tfnation.com.
