Yep, big fan of Titans Return here, too. And also (although not quite as big) a fan of Combiner wars as well - I appreciate the frustration in not being able to complete waves (and distribution played a big role in that), but I liked that they also did weird things like Sky Lynx as a combiner torso or the IDW-esque Ultra Magnus that wasn't a combiner at all. Generally unified stuff, with the odd thing coming out of left-field - made things interesting. Power of the Primes, mind you, was something of a disappointment, being a half-arsed combination of both which amounted to much less than the sum of its parts - not sure what happened there (As an aside, companies should never listen to fans. We don't know what we want.) Amen that. |
