Not much of a combiner if your combiner exists without combining. Motormaster looks worlds better than his CW counterpart, but I was expecting that, and it's not exactly a high bar to cross. But I genuinely don't understand what's going on with his feet. Are they a fake truck under the real truck? So a double truck front stacked on top of each other? Or is the real truck front splitting in a way that creates the illusion of two seperate truck fronts stacked on one another? Yeah, it seems that his feet are a fake truck cab immediately under the very obvious real truck cab. That's gonna really bother me. Faux kibble always bothers me, but non worse than when it's blatantly right next to the real thing. |

They should have designed it to be able to do both.
Like I get the sunbow accuracy, but Menasor was the worst looking animation model in a sea of really bad animation models.
As a $160+ set of toys, why would you hide the interesting part on the back of the legs?
It should be able to orient both ways.

But he (and Motormaster) looks like he could be a superb figure. It's like, Combiner Wars ULTRA.
I wonder how this could work for the other teams?

I doubt the interest is there for a £90 Hot Spot.
Having said that, I would be interested to see them get a combiner frame out of the likes of Silverbolt or Hun-Grr.

I was thinking that earlier. I don't think the Aerialbots would work like this because Silverbolt doesn't have a 'trailer' piece so there's no where for the combiner frame to come from. He could work as a leader instead, but then you're back to a combining style the same as CW.
I think Menasor is unique because of the sunbow model. The other combiners are much closer to the CW look.
