They're not, but they're the descendants of the Autobots and Decepticons with different names for the Factions.

Minicons... Too many... Minicons... Many... Mini... Manycons! It's Spychangers all over again! Oh no. This makes Spychangers look like part timers. There were 6 original moulds there, Minicons have many more some with more repaints. (Although this was anticipated, to be fair.) Speaking of which the main poll is moving into the Japanese Micron Legend. Dimension-X 3 packs, Media pack ins - both 3 packs and individuals, promotional exclusives, Kabaya and Micron Booster are coming. And we still have the pack in Minicons for Maxcons, Gigacons and the Superbases to do here |

I very nearly gave this to Crumplezone - the humanoid mode is great, he is a model Mini-con for the difference to the look of his partner when he is attached - literally, he changes Cyclonus from looking a bit like an Mi-8 Hip, to looking very much like an Mi-24 Hind... Blackout is rather fun as well - vehicle mode that looks like someone took a wheeled chassis and put far too much gun on it, and a decent humanoid mode.
Rook and Crosswise, well least said the better.
However, the thing is Windsheer exists, and he is just darned brilliant. Nice F-111 inspired alt-mode, a fun transformation which is pretty much what you would expect if they made him a deluxe these days and is very fun to fiddle with. He also has great, tined-looking hands on the end of his barrel arms that make him look very much ready to ruin someones day in a brawl. Windsheer, without hesitation.

I had a bit of a moment standing at the Kapow stall on Saturday. I was looking at the bags of minicon sets thinking, ooh, I need some of these for the Armada collection. Then I realised I had no idea which ones I have and which ones I don't, without referring to my spreadsheet. That then made me think, how can I be desperate to add these to a collection when I've got no idea what I need or even what the names of the sets are?
