I had a bit of a moment standing at the Kapow stall on Saturday. I was looking at the bags of minicon sets thinking, ooh, I need some of these for the Armada collection. Then I realised I had no idea which ones I have and which ones I don't, without referring to my spreadsheet. That then made me think, how can I be desperate to add these to a collection when I've got no idea what I need or even what the names of the sets are? i had a moment like that but with micromasters  i realised the other day that i have recently sold a set that i didn't have already... how?! this is why the spreadsheet exists goddamit. rollout obv. look at that hunky lad. |

Wind Sheer win!  And I would have voted for Crosswise or Rook. by far the best fiddle factor though as a pair so not sure which I would have voted for. |

It seems unfair classing Rollout as a minicon.
But my votes going to Longarm, not the most interesting set of recolours, but a very good toy in a group of minicons I'm not a fan of.

It seems unfair classing Rollout as a minicon. I tend to think of him as a Minicon who happens to also have a suit of Exo-armour that he can wear. Sort of like a mouse on giant stilts and a trenchcoat... :-). A bit like Universe Countdown - where I've always imagined that the Micromaster Countdown is sitting in a cockpit in the chest of the Universe toy, interfaced with it and piloting it like a mecha with a neural interface jack of something. Leader 1 is repainted as Galvatron's minicon Clench. He has a black Japanese repaint, and Caliburn, a Botcon repaint Comettor has a powerlinx repaint, an unnamed unreleased Universe repaint and a similar Timelines repaint. Ramjet has an Energon repaint |

Leader One all the way. He just looks so much cooler than the others. Ramjet is nice but looks like his legs are glued together.

Leader One for sure. Ramjet is ok but feels like a glorified accessory rather than a real character, and Commettor is a state.

Comettor is fragile as ****. There's a reason so many of them aren't with their Jetfires. He does have a nice bonus mode as Jetfire's front landing gear though! |

Given their similarity, and thus the ease of turning one into the other, I'm surprised we've not seen a modern Minicon Leader-1/Cybertron Drillbit yet! Reverse the way the cab sits on the vehicle, swap guns for drills, job done. One with a nice fold don 5mm handle so the gun mode could be held properly would be nice! |

All a bit flawed one way or another. But I'll go with commettor because from the pictures they are the most interesting.
In hand Ramjet is probably best, but just looks so goofy in robot mode.

Sparkplug's colours are tweaked for the Japanese version. He has a green magazine promo repaint plus Rod & Atlas, who we saw Friday in the Micron Booster v0 poll Corona Sparkplug is identical in his western and Japanese incarnations plus has a bonus western use in his original colours with a Superbase Prime repaint. All his repaints are in Micron Booster ver 1 |

*ESSENTIALLY* these two are the same toy: same skeleton, same transformation, and the robot parts look similar. But the Corona version is a complete reshell of the skeleton |
