There is one heck of a queue outside the hall. Either the early access tickets are very popular or everyone's prepared to sit in a line for an hour to get in.

That room is heaving. The Fu crew are holding their own from what I can see but hats off to them for coping with the frenzied masses. That can't be an easy job. This con has really exploded numbers-wise since the COVID break.

Mainly to get the picks. I'm at a point now where it's very difficult to find stuff to go into the collection so need to take the extra opportunities like.

I was in the dealer room about a half-hour early entry, and that was busy enough for me. I did see the queue for regular entry was back to main reception and into the bar area! I hadn't seen that since Stan Bush's experience.
Went past the toyfu stand when I went back to the convention about 2:30pm, and they where pretty mobbed even then. I take my hat off too them, genuinely some fantastic work they are doing!
Did catch a couple of panels this afternoon. Half of a Furman career retrospective, and - after seeking refuge in the panel room from the chaos in the dealer room and bar - a panel with the voice actor for Twitch, of Earthspark fame. Who seems to be a nice enough person.
Don't think I'll stay for Sunday though. Need to know my limits, and quit whilst I am ahead.
Seriously considering getting a Saturday ticket for next year, and do it as a day-trip. I think that could work.

Think I ended up quite lucky in that regard - I mostly eschewed figures for fan publications and artwork. That said, I did still end up grabbing a couple of long-sought-after grails of mine.

I don't know the full details, I literally walked into it when leaving the panel room last night. There was a corridor with signs up saying TF Nation folk should use alternate routes, presumably so there wasn't a log jam of people from both conventions. I think one of the guests had gone through that way, or run through it- the salsa guy was very loudly making a fuss about it, with Hilton staff there too. It seemed an overreaction on first glance.
