Prog 2371: Rob Williams is A Bad Man Which told me straight away what would happen, as evidenced by reading #2371. -Ralph

Yeees. I did wonder.
Seems daft to me that the first ep of the new thrillcast featured an interview with Rob Williams the week before that prog came out. They really had to dance around the spoilers. Why not do it in a fortnight when that story could be explored properly? That's the interview you want.

The editorial in this Wednesday's prog says the first of this year's four 48 page issues is due soon, 2375. It mentions some of the content but doesn't say anything about it being a Regened issue. Have I missed something? Have those been dropped?

They are apparently the best selling issues each year so I would doubt it, unless it is being spun-off?

There's been no announcement either way on the Regened issues. Speculation on 2000AD boards is that it's been dropped.

The other suggestion is a four week event in the summer, i suppose more in line with the Battle miniseries.

Subs copy of #2374 is here. Can confirm #2375 bumper issue is *not* Regened, as per the ad.

I think Regened can drop to 1 a year and still have an impact.
I think the falling out with Pat Mills has hamstrung them, Ro-Busters as an all-ages Thunderbirds style strip would be a no brainer. Or young Slaine and Ukko.

My only problem with the Regened issues is that once they started to do ongoing stories, with three months between issues I have no hope of remembering what is going on.

Very much enjoyed this week's Dredd in 2000ad, a nice slim, average bod for Dredd. Now I love the Biz as much as the next person (that is a lie, I love him more) but when he did the slightly bigger Dredd, it seemed to catch on, and it wasn't necessary.

"New Readers Start Here" boasts this week's cover. Why's that then? Most of that prog was impenetrable rubbish, bar the two standalone stories and they weren't anything that's going to sell the comic to the uninitiated.

Part of me thinks it's time for a new Tharg..., purely to refresh the editorial vision of the book, not saying he's gone bad or anything.
I do agree though, a jumping on point should be all new stories not the last part of one, and Indigo Prime, which if you aren't reading week to week is an absolute switch off to a casual reader..

Bisley art first two episodes, so Andu must I'm with Burns Agree, but so little new Bisley I always appreciate what we get. And yes it wasn't a great story, but I think we can all agree Pat was not doing his best work with the ABC Warriors for 20 years, and the strip had stellar art to power it through.
