reading it in one go, it wasn't as bad an experience as week to week, but absolutely a whimper to end the ABC Warriors on with 2000ad.
Sketchbook stuff was nice.

Thank heavens. That and Aquilla have lifted the content noticeably. I've given up with Indigo and Proteus Vex is filler at best.

I think Proteus Vex has been dragged on too long, sometimes less is more (see Shakara).

Proteus Vez was great at the start but now I haven't the foggiest what is going on.
Indigo Prime needs to go back in the bin, but I do tend to find that writer's work incomprensible in general anyway.

Spoilers for this week's 2000AD What is it with Rob Williams and killing people? Why bother going through all that setup to introduce a new cadet with that prologue episode just to kill them off?
That story was crap. I thought initially it felt a bit different for Dredd tale but the vendetta against the bear didn't feel right to me. Once they'd escaped, keep going. Why go back and risk more trouble?

I'm glad I wasn't the only one that thought it was rubbish. Had meant to mention this previously!
Reading Case Files 44, fab stuff. Read all the Origins Interlude material

Good to see D'israeli back on Dredd in this month's Megazine and of course the return of the Intestinauts.

Oh for fuck sakes.
I had hoped the Meg was going to print all the IDW stuff. It's all new to me.
The Regened style strips will not fit with the likes of Devlin Waugh in the same comic!!!!
I wonder if this is unused inventory stuff or material originally intended for further Tooth Regened issues but needed a new home when plans changed?

WTF are they thinking? All ages stuff alongside Megazine's decidedly mature material? hahahaha No.

More likely they had this work commissioned but no more Regened to publish it in? Sounds like the IDW will continue anyway. The current issue had 'hook jaw' too which has ended. I'm fine with this really.

Tharg tends to commission well in advance, so I am assuming it's material that needs a home.
Also, as to the all ages alongside the mature, I don't see that as a problem, because lets face it the Meg is not aimed at the casual punter anyway so no danger of the spectre of the outraged parent, and the three strips they've got are the best of the all-ages stuff.

True, but the intended audience won't see these strips. -Ralph I think given the change that the regenened idea has ran it's course. I wonder what might have happened if they hadn't fallen out with Pat and Ro-Busters could have been a thing.

Probably for the best, given how well their trade program seems to be going, and seems to have done what Rebellion wanted.

So Rebellion/2000ad are doing a kickstarter next month for a romance comic special according to this week's prog.
Also, still loving the Intestinauts and hope we will soon have enough for a trade. Love Nick Percival's art on the Dredd tale but the story isn't really doing anything for me.
Brink is excellent as ever.

I love the Bolland cover for the 2000AD annual, that's very reminiscent of the old 1985 one. I think I shall have that.
I didn't realise the last Treasury Annual was a limited run so I didn't get one before it sold out. That'll stop me buying the new one because having an incomplete collection will annoy me too much.
