Were those figures ever released before this? I think I'd dig them more without the sprite paintjob...

I have a hunch the game versions are the first edition. Never seen these elsewhere.

fingers crossed for a standard release, then. These guys are the closest any figs have come to looking like actual classic toon TMNT.

fingers crossed for a standard release, then. These guys are the closest any figs have come to looking like actual classic toon TMNT. I like the full size Classic Collection figures. They aren't perfect and some seem to be bad for poor paint finishes and weak hip joints but they get look pretty close, cram in a sewer-load of articulation and the right accessories as well as being full size. Those SDCC sets look amazing though.

I have Raph of those and Mike of the 90's movie releases... but they just don't quite nail it for me (though Mike is far closer). The toon versions are based on promo imagery rather than animation models, and the two were never that close to begin with.

Blimey, that's amazing. 16 inches too. One tidy figure.
And I don't often say that about amniotes.

Man alive, those are impressive. I hope they don't release all 4 at the same time.

Constipated, is more like it.
Raph and Leo seem to have it worse.
They need to cut back on those all-night pizza benders.

news.toyark.com/2017/02/18/toy-fair-2017-teenage-mutant-ninja-turtles-242909TMNT at Toyfair. Rather disappointing, as we're only getting two new characters, and six new non-turtle sculpts (Usagi!!!! Super Shredder, Muckman, Tigerclaw, 80s Rocksteady & Bebop) The rest are Mad Max turtles (out now), Samurai Turtles, Universal Monster Turtles, WWE Turtles Monster Slayer Turtles, Wave 1 Repaint Turtles, Storage Shell Repaint Turtles, and turtle tot repaint Turtles. The rest seem to be random "Player Two" type recolors. But on the flip side... MIYAMOTO USAGI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If that gets published and turns up on Amazon I'll have one purely because it looks beautifully laid out, but $50 with another $40 shipping is a bit much for my casual interest.

I'm supporting this.
Sad to now see the 2012 line dying down as it makes way for the 2018 'Rise of' reboot. Those Monsters and Ghostbuster figs will at least end things strong.
