I saw a DVD in ASDA today of the original cartoon. They called it 'Teenage Mutant NINJA Turtles'.
Shocking! That wasn't its name!!!

I like the look of the Dimension X Turtles. Trouble is, their boots are missing!

Target has a Dimension X exclusive. A $40 five pack with all four dimension x space turtles and fugitoid. Fugitoid is almost compketely vac-metallized, while the turtles space armor is vac-metallized. if anyone is interested, I'd be happy to pick it up for you.

Saw an advert for a two foot tall Leonardo that turns into a 6 level playset.
Hasbro really needs to up it's game!

That's been out for a while now here, and it is quite impressively huge.

Well, when it rains, it poors. I don't have a pleasant find. I have a deluge.
Went to an out of the way walmart today, and found the deluxe autobot CW wave marked at $10, for reasons unknown to me. They had two of the three extra prowls I need, and that price is basically two for one. I'm pleased.
The TMNT however, have almost every single MIA figure for the last year and a half. Savage Mikey Monkey Brains Shredder Mutants Mondo gecko Both of the frogs
Plus fugitoid and the spacesuit turtles. One of each.
This one reaaaally hurt. Ended up with the prowls and mondo.

Mondo! Could it be that I might get my hands on him after all?!
The IDW TMNT series is like 97% amazing. The only really weak area was the recent April & Casey mini which took four issues to do what any other book could do in one.

Was in B&M earlier picking up the TMNT Classic collection figures with the dirty sewer plate and I spotted something I'd never seen in a retail store before.....
An incorrectly factory packaged figure. Donatello was in Michaelangelo packaging. I probably should've picked it up for the novelty factor.

I'll be interested to see how some of those toy designs translate into on screen depictions.

I wonder how much is toyline, and how much is actually in the movie. I'm certain you know who is in it, because I just can't see them randomely adding non-screen characters. They have the nicktoon line, for that. But then there's Shredder. While I see nothing that precludes him from coming back in the sequel, I also see no reason for him to be in it. But at the same time, even if he isn't, I can't see Playmates doing a movie toyline without him.
As for onscreen appearance, I imagine it's like Rocksteady and Bebop: slightly cartoonish in comparison to the hyper-realism of the Turtles.
Hey! You know what? It's almost as if they're doing what Michael Bay's TF didn't. Take the various criticisms fans and viewers had with the first movie, and address them! The Turtles are too experimental/radical in their design? The new CG characters are considerably more traditional and conservative, while trying to fit into this new setting. It took 3 sequels before bayformers started to pull in. And by that time, the people who criticized the radical nature of the designs had given up. Rocksteady, and Bebop almost look as though they stepped out of the cartoon. Shredder has been pulled back a ton, while the foot soldiers are much more traditional. Even the Turtles seem to have been pulled back a bit.

I don't see any spoilery stuff in there except designs for characters who were already announced as being in the movie. There's no cardbacks with storyline stuff pictured.
Considering Playmates and their quality slump, I hope the actual toys retain the same quality or better from the images. It may be hoping a bit much. Garbage Vehicle looks great and already miles better than the previous van.
Like all that's been shown there. Looking fwd to it.

Does anyone want the megablok blindpack translucent red shredder? I can't win for losing. They *say* it's the second most rare of the lot, but I've got four of them. More of these than anything else. Just got TWO (out of three) tonight.

I'll take one please. I've got the Lego Lair Invasion set from the 1st movie but it's missing all the minifigs.

Sure are. There's another series coming out later for the movie. Giving me the heads up that they have been spotted in Tesco is a big help. Thankyou.

The Leonardo VS Baxter is a brilliant first set to start with.
Those Blindbags still elude me, but have managed to obtain a few through a fellow Dromer.
Anyone after the classic 87' sets can get them cheapest through Toys R Us America. The ebay markups on these US exclusives are ridiculous. I have the Leo and Raph packages so far and they are pretty neat.

I can grab anything anyone wants. These are all pretty reasonable here, compaired to Legos.
The modern Party Wagon and 80s Krang's Android Body sets are $30 USD. The largest set is $40, I believe. That Casey set? £14, here. Maybe $17, if I'm misremembering it.
Only set I have great difficulty finding is the Krang set.

TMNT megabloks stuff is currently 33% off at The Entertainer. Picked up the Don and Casey Racer set for £13.
Blindbags are only £1.66. I am guessing they are making way for Movie Megabloks already.

Managed to get ahold of Movie 2 Megabloks Mikey w/Turboboard. It seems like a lot of toys in this line have a bonus light up gimmick. Decent. Only set I have great difficulty finding is the Krang set. Any luck so far?
