God or bad theres normally some kind of come down after an English exit. But that was so bad I don't even care.
I was more sad to see the Republic go out. And Northern Ireland, but at least that kept Wales in.
Great tournament so far.
And I concur come on Wales and Iceland. What a final that would be.

I'm going with Belgium. Gave up with England after the Slovakia game, they just don't have it. Tedious football. The fun is elsewhere. Belgium rock.

I cant believe they were the first penalties Germany missed since before my first birthday.

I have Portugal in the sweep at work, but have wanted them to be eliminated at each stage as they have ruined games with their dullness.
England massively underperformed and the blame is Hodgson's for a curious selection of players and positions for several games. I wanted Iceland and Italy to do well and was very pleased. Although the Italy/Germany penalty shootout was utterly dreadful until sudden death.

Random thoughts.
Most games pretty boring... Heck, England may have not made the final 8, but at least they had a gazillion shots in their first few games.
A shame all the teams' supporters stole Iceland's 'ooh' chant, but fail to pull it off.
Ridiculous that 3rd place can qualify for knockout stages, changed early game dynamics.
Wales didn't face a great team until Portugal, and even they're not an A+ side. Would have been carnage against Germany, France or Italy.
