Does this title mean plenty of Old Man Luke action?

Apparently Jedis is an alternative plural!

Ok here is my prediction Star Wars 8: The Last Jedi This film will be SUSPICIOUSLY SIMILAR to Empire, but with TWISTS - We open on a DESERT PLANET where there is a rebel base which is under attack by AT-AT walkers (CLEVER)
- Rey gets trained by Luke exactly like Luke was trained by Yoda
- Someone gets captured. Finn I guess as he is the new Han Solo. By Kylo Ren as he wants to lure Rey to him.
- They'll be in an UNDERWATER CITY (not cloud city, THE TWIST)
- Rey goes to rescue him, Luke is all "Oh no your training"
- For some reason Rey gets turned to the dark side by Snoke (maybe he promises her real results and powers I dunno)
- Kylo goes back to the good side HE IS THE LAST JEDI WHAT A TWIST
- There's a fight between Rey and Luke and the super twist is that Luke says "REY YOU ARE MY FATHER" aaaah see because Rey is a clone of Darth Vader which is why she is evil now.
- Then Rey kills Luke to upset Ralph
- And then it ends on a DARK NOTE to be picked up in Star Wars 9: Totally Not Return of the Jedi. There will be a planet of Wookies in it.

I'm not fussed if Luke dies. It is Andu who will lose his shit as he has an obsession with the character.

I could see a lot of this actually, especially the dark bits and endings, then they can do the full circle thing with Rey OR Finn becomes a jedi to save her kinda thing. Middle of a trilogy usually ends in heartbreak to build to a big happy finale!, love the kylo twist, overcome with grief over the end of episode 7 and he turns good, loving it blue, think you need a job as a writer!

I think the alternate is that Snoke is a guy we've genuinely never met before, but the twist will be he's super tiny, as his hologram is so big.

Snoke will be someone new, at best he will have ties to some preexisting character from the saga.
Luke can die but only in the third film after doing some jedi master stuff and only after I get my action figure.

I'm betting Darth Plaguis or that he is tiny. I don't think they'll resurrect any villains or have anyone secretly be evil

I think the alternate is that Snoke is a guy we've genuinely never met before, but the twist will be he's super tiny, as his hologram is so big. Why would Snoke be someone we've met before? After all, the First Order's whole schtick is that their officers are the kids of the Space Nazi's who escaped to Space Brazil indoctrinated and raised into a new Waffen-SS. It makes more sense for Snoke to be someone we've never heard of specifically as anyone we know is unlikely to have escaped arrest/retribution at the end of the war. Besides, if Snoke is someone we know it basically means that the new films are narratively just an appendage to the first three and I'd much rather not see them increase their narrative ties any further given how strongly thay are already structurally borrowing from them. Well I mean in how they're currently making the films (with slavish devotion to fanboyish continuity) that he's more likely to be an old character than a new one. Or tiny. But there'll be some twist.
