If 'The Predator' is remembered at all it will be for having a real-life predator in it before their scene was excised with the cast member who complained about it being thrown to the dogs by a studio who wouldn't let them out of their contractual obligation interviews.
The film itself is destined for obscurity otherwise. It is one of those very very rare examples of a film so ineptly put together it is mind-staggering that a studio thought it was releasable. I'm taking about basic competencies of film-making rather than opinions about whether viewers think it is 'good' or 'bad'. I can only imagine it cost enough to make that it couldn't be completely written off so had to be shoved out to get some money back.

The Greatest Showman Pitch Perfect 3 Paddington 2 Darkest Hour Molly's Game Jumanjii 2 Maze Runner Black Panther Red Sparrow (Imax) Black Panther (Imax) Game Night - Ready Player One Pacific Rim - Rampage - Infinity War Deadpool 2 Solo Incredibles 2 Super Troopers 2 Skyscraper - I seem to have missed adding his before Ant Man and The Wasp Teen Titans Go - never seen the cartoon but found it entertaining. Mission Impossible - The series suddenly goes continuity heavy (ish) I cant decide if I like that or not, either way another strong film. King of Thieves - Great cast odd story, more so because of it being more or less true, but entertaining. The house with a clock in its Walls - I would like someone to explain to me why the obvious Hallowean film was released in the middle of September. I really enjoyed it, this I think will be to todays kids what Hocus Pocus is to many kids of the 90s. Great cast and entertaining, but it does have some structural problems. Also had a watch of Oceans 8 and while it passes the time it seems to lack the directorial flair of the previous films and oddly doesnt try to make the thieves the good guys by introducing a bad guy they can rob. They also get caught out abd only survive by dumb luck rather double bluff type misdirection. Weird.

Well, The Predator was a bit of a car crash. How did they get that RV? Wasn't the kid just wearing a thing in the previous shot? How is a scientist so adept at automatic gun use and doesn't hesitate to kill a guy? What's the deal with that dog? The whole premise destroys the very idea of Predator culture. Final scene with the wig and beautiful eye brows was laughable. Would have been a better finish and a twist if... the pod contained a facehugger egg. 1: Solo 2: The Predator

Very close to going higher in this list, some of the action set pieces are as good as any in Black Panther or Avengers and often visually striking, but it's let down a bit by a much weaker finale than the first film and by being a bit predictable.
First time I've seen the full Spiderverse trailer, and it looks pretty great! Didn't think it would be for me, but based on that I'm really looking forward to it.

I don't think even Venom will work for you. The advertising does not help: the trailer is a summary of the whole film.
Bit after the credits, bit after the very end credits.

I suspect I would have enjoyed Blacks original cut. A Star is Born - Oscar bait alert. In fairness the first half or so is great, but it runs a bit long and the second half isnt quite as good as the first. Good music, good performances. Venom - Not a great film. Its not terrible either, but its .... yeah.. though I could have done without the tentacle porn moment or the terrible CGI saliva. CGI sometimes worked some time didn't, much like everything elese. But Eddie and Venoms relationship is a lot of fun. I'd like to see them in a better film.

Kept me moderately entertained. First Man - I was a little concerned this was going to be very artsy during the first few minutes. By the end Im tempted to say it wasn't artsy enough. But it does convey the sense of barely contained chaos that space flight seems to be.

'Robin Hood' appears to actually be a remake of 'The Mask of Zorro', relocated to a semi-steampunk Ye Olde Englande. It starts slow, but then a quality Sheriff of Nottingham enters the picture and we get a training montage that basically turns a normal bloke into Legolas.
Taron Egerton (Eggsy from 'Kingsman') plays a likeable Robin, but Ben Mendelsohn (the main baddie in Rogue One) the Sheriff is the best thing in it.
Way better than the Russell Crowe RH.
