Armada Prime has less of a butt flap and more a butt on his butt.

Interesting, that's where Motormaster landed when he eventually arrived at retail. I was expecting more of a hike than that. £87 shipped at Star.

I was expecting low three figures. Pleasantly surprised. Cheaper than we expected won't hinder it's chances of being toy of the year...

I'll wait for a sale. TF's seem to go cheap quickly these days.

Indeed. That makes sense. But this one is more of the 'but I want it now' type. Don't get many of those these days.

Yep, this is one I am surprised to find myself wanting (given that I was lukewarmish to Armada after Car Robots/RiD), but it does look really good. Maybe because it's a little bit different. Or maybe because I find myself nostalgic for the time when Armada came out. *remembers where he was when Armada came out* ... Nah.

I am, for RL issues, not nostalgic for Armada, and I much preferred the prototype Armada Op to this release. I'm not excited about this at all. Feels a little weird to feel like that, really.

I loved Armada back in the day. The blocky designs got me back into buying Transformers! But I've no nostalgic attachment to it. I... remember it fondly.
And to be honest, I'm not convinced by this new figure at all. The super robot has some terrifying pelvic flap craziness going on there. Although given the original was a brick, I can see why folks would want this.

I remember Jetfire being £80, so it's not much of a jump, all things considered.
But even £80 was too rich for my blood.
