Cab's in robot mode tonight. Relatively easy, though some bits were reluctant to move to start with. Finding the feet was a challenge, they're in the shins which fold up at the knees to let you fold them down

Armada Prime isn't without faults, but those faults are pretty mild. I absolutely adore him and think so far he's the best commander. Love all his modes.

Yes, the 5mm holes accept the pegs on the 2023 Minicons and the Arms Micron Minicons. Plus any older Minicons that have them

The 5mm holes on Optimus, Megatron, Starscrea & Hotshot accept the pegs on the 2023 Minicons, which we had none of when the others came out, and the Arms Micron Minicons, which I did not have to hand when you visited. Plus any older Minicons that have 5mm pegs.

They don't have Minicon ports in the Armada sense of raised hardpoints which slide into ports on the minicons. They have 5mm diameter ports on the larger toys that can accept the 5mm pegs which are on some Armada mini-cons, the newer Legacy mini-cons, weaponizers, and most modern Transformers weapons.

No! Hexagonal holes are not good enough for Minicons! They need to mount on the wee sticky-up poles!

Minicon ports have been innie since 2012 and Arms Micron. We just didn't realise how important that move was at the time.
This means that all new Minicons can also be hand held, a BIG plus as new versions of the Land Military and the like can now be used as hand weapons

I think one of the biggest problems I have surrounds the front of the trailer/base of the legs. The front of the truck is the full width of the leg out to each side The legs is straight down. If the trailer fronts were half a leg width out and the leg sides the same distance it would look a good bit better and save on a joint that's proved difficult to manipulate on my copy. Combination is superb though, the way the cab locks into the lower body and the backpack. The lower body has grey tabs either side of the waist: push them in to release the clips holding the cab body in place - NOT IN THE INSTRUCTIONS! |
