My immediate thought is it looks very "traditional super robot". Has a lot of vibes like Sunrise's Brave shows, or a power-up form for a Sentai mecha. (I guess that would make Airazor an Extra Hero... "ROBOTO-CHANGE! TRANS FORMER, GOLD!" :-))

I wasn't going to bother with Optimus until I had a shot of Phil's. Waiting for a sale on that.
I had been after 86 Magnus but after handling one I am not keen on it at all so will skip it.

Happy to say my replacement is in good shape, so I’ve had a bit of a play today.
It’s very nice!
“Heft” Is a word that gets thrown around a lot these days, but he has it. Very weighty figure, feels of a high quality, occasional factory misassembly issue aside.
Perfectly fulfills the remit of being that wonderful Armada design (in visual design terms my favorite Op since PMOP) but with gimmicks traded for posability. Only really missing the minicon- even without interactivity it would have been nice as they’re an integral part of the Armada story.
I just kind of wish I hadn’t had to pay full RRP for it. It’s great, but I do feel like most mainline Transformers are over-priced in the first place.
